Accumulation White IPA was inspired by the white beauty that falls each winter from our Colorado sky. Flurries of Mosaic and Amarillo hops bring soft fruit and citrus flavor, followed by a layer of bitter. Piled high in IBUs, Accumulation will make your winter brighter.

glennmastrange (2311) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAR 11, 2014
Bottle. Light to moderate cereal note for the malt, moderate pine and orange peel for the hops, hints of dough and musty for the yeast, with pineapple, pepper and paper in the background. Head is small to average size, frothy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy pale yellow. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes faintly sweet, acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, slick and has a lively carbonation. Some pleasant IPA notes, but a few off ones set it back a bit.

Tap at Buckeye, Looks better than it tastes, a little bland and benign Iím struggling with what makes this an IPA, I had no mosaic or amarillo in there just some lingering belgian esthers.

100th rating. From notes. Very clear, sour aroma. Nice fruity notes from the hops, quick finish. Note much to the beer, but considering a bad winter, it coincided with all the snow haha.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a very light straw color, and disappointingly, isnít that hazy for a white beer. Thereís two fingers worth of white-colored head. While itís not the most dense affair, it retains well and leaves good lacing behind. S: Hrm, thereís something off about the aroma. Basically, it smells like deviled ham. Sure, I pick up some lemon and citrus notes (and it tries like hell to give off a fruity scent, too), but if you blindfolded me, Iíd swear this involved a devil and the word "Underwood" on the paper covering the can. T: This works a lot better. The Underwood deviled ham goes away, and is replaced by...well, lemon and citrus notes. Malts are pretty much imperceptible except for some finishing sweetness. All in all, it definitely brings the lemon flavors, and even tries to bring a bit of layered depth (not a lot, though.) M: Really light in body, which is good. I do miss the crispness I would have gotten from an unfiltered white IPA, though. As a result, thereís a bit too much lingering sweetness for me. O: Iím pretty sure my experience with the nose was an anomaly, but still, I canít really get over the crap aroma. Everything else is pretty solid, though. Iíd reckon it is worth trying.

Pours pale yellow with a medium white head, very fine lasting lacing. Aromas of hay, grapefruit, black pepper, biscuit, and a hint of bubblegum. Medium body, dry, velvety. A suggestion of sweet and citrus up front with a medium bitter finish that lingers. A solid brew, unusually sessionable for an IPA. If any one aspect were a little bigger, it would be really something.

Aroma: The nose has some fruity hops (grapefruit, citrus, etc.), and some sweet malts
Appearance: It pours a hazed orange-amber color with a small head on it
Flavor: The flavor is citrus/tropical fruits, some sweet malts, and hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light, leaning medium, with a fairly clean feel, and a dryish finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was pretty solid. I certainly enjoyed drinking it, and I could see it being something Iíd order again.

Light straw/gold color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of sweet malt, floral hops, & citrus; Flavor of slight sweet malt, citrus hops, some caramel, and spice; Finish is slightly bitter; Just ok for me.
