COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Accumulation White IPA was inspired by the white beauty that falls each winter from our Colorado sky. Flurries of Mosaic and Amarillo hops bring soft fruit and citrus flavor, followed by a layer of bitter. Piled high in IBUs, Accumulation will make your winter brighter.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a medium sized frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of grainy malts, doughy notes, herbal hops and nutty notes. The taste is pale malts, herbal hops and mild fruitiness. Medium bodied, fairly raw feeling overall. Strong carbonation. Interesting.

[2/17/15] Draught at The Libertine Pub in Morro Bay. Clear golden. Pleasant piney and “green” hops aroma. Hoppy flavor, piney, fruity and “green”, with pretty strong bitterness. Medium-bodied.

This beer is a pale yellow-gold color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, spices and wheat. Medium body with flavors of citrus, cloves and caramel malt. The finish is spicy with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle. Tangerine, wheat malt, and orange peel/pine aroma. Pale yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter orange peel/pine flavor. Nice blending. Very good.

Bottle @ home, picked up in a six pack @ Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a hazy light yellow appearance with a big white head that almost makes it look like a witbier. Really a bright juicy hoppy, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, dank aroma. Fun aroma. Spicy, a bit dank resiny hoppy, lemon, guava, passion fruit flavor with some cracker and toasted malty notes. A bit dry and slightly chewy yeasty. I don’t really like any of the other hoppy beers ever released by New Belgium besides Super IPA (which, let’s be honest, was an Alpine knockoff), but this one is fun. Hope it becomes available in cans year round.

On tap at Pat’s Tap. Pours a near clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of sweet wheat and sweet citrus with a touch of grass underlying. Flavor is grass and sweet wheat forward with some citrus underlying.

355mL thanks to Dedicatedtofun! Clear straw, low foam. Nose is lemon, vanilla cake, cat pee. Taste is vanilla cake, yellow apple, mild hop. Palate is soft, juicy. Simple blonde ale. I don’t think IPA is a fit.

"I really like white ipa as a style. I wasn’t sure about it as a winter style but it works. Mild coriander and orange and a surprisingly pungent hop aroma and aftertaste. Lots of victims and pine. Solid brew worthy of a new winter seasonal."

Bottle. Hazy golden pour with white head. Nose was pale malt, hops, spice. Tasted citric, hoppy, pale malty, with some coriander and late funk. Medium to light on the tongue.
