COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Alpine might be small, but their brewing chops are mighty. We teamed up to create this triple dry-hopped imperial IPA bursting with Columbus, Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe hops. Consider yourself a hero for getting an Alpine beer outside of San Diego.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex earth hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is an interesting beer.

Botella. Bit unclear golden colour. Herbal sweet fruity hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel. Sweet caramel hoppy fruity spiced like flavour. Great bitterness indeed. Dry. .

jefcon (1204) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - DEC 10, 2012
Bitter, but lush and round on the impressive citrus, pine, soap hops in this super IPA. The hops are well-integrated into a big beer without delivering a slick, saturated palate. The supporting cast is essential, and the caramel malt delivers just enough sweetness to accentuate the acidity of the hopping.

Draft - As a good friend would say ’juicy’, absurd amount of fruits with hints of mandarin. A bit of spice to contrast the sweetness on the nose. Peppery to start in the taste leading to full on pine and more of the mandarin. The complexity of this beer is amazing, and has to be one of the best I have had in some time.

On tap at Venti’s downtown. Solid bitterness throughout dominated by tropical fruit and pine. Sticky sweet and resiny. Solid IPA finish with a light alcohol burn. Tasty.

Bottle. Pure amber color, with a sticky, lasting head. You have to whiff really, really hard to evoke much of an aroma here, but this drinks wtih a good West coast, pine sap-laden, earthy, hoppy character. Makes your mouth sticky. (#4848, 12/8/2012)

Bomber from Sam’s, Durham. Had a few of these and all I can say is that I hope fervently that they bring this one back semi-regularly. There are a few folks who seem ever so slightly indifferent to the creamsicle qualities you often get with Alpine, but I am a total slut for it. It’s not all over this beer, as the abundant fruits have to do time with the more sere dry-hopping. But it’s hugely floral, complex but assertive, in many ways a real model of the style. Absolutely delish.

Must be one of the last bottles floating around, Thanks to Chris for sharing, I did not think I’d get another chance at it. I must say the nose on this beer is fantastic! even after my glass sat for several minutes I can still smell melon-ey/citrus/jungle fruit hops all over the place. Probably the high point of this brew for sure. Very light golden color with medium-froth head. Very light lacing. Taste gets very sweet as it warms but when cool it is quite a hoppy little treat. lots of simcoe in nose and taste. Finish is not the long nasty (good) kind I’m accustomed to with big dipa’s. Props to the callabo with Alpine. Nice we could get it something from them (sorta) in Michigan. Overall awesome beer that we won’t see again but maybe thats its destiny! Prost!

Bottle. Pours a very light golden color. The aroma is full of hops and very floral. The taste is a Little too bitter, wanted more of a clean finish which it did not have. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
