Alpine might be small, but their brewing chops are mighty. We teamed up to create this triple dry-hopped imperial IPA bursting with Columbus, Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe hops. Consider yourself a hero for getting an Alpine beer outside of San Diego.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2012 Holy crap. This beer is amazing. On draft at toronado SD. I haven’t had an ipa in this realm of awesome since roger’s last stand. The hop flavors come at you hard without any of that bitterness. Just the right amount of maltiness for this style Of beer. If I wanted something less malty I would have ordered a Nelson. Anyways, this gets extra points for being possibly the easiest "alpine" beer to get a hold of. Drink it fresh obviously. If the hops fade this beer won’t be nearly as tasty *re-rating this* 8/14 The hops have either dropped some, or that first keg I had last week was some miracle batch. While not one of the most mindblowingly good IPAs I’ve ever had anymore, it is still amazing. I’m a hophead obviously, so I probably went overboard when I first had it. Either way, awesome IPA, if we weren’t so spoiled with Alpine already, I’d be seeking this out by the case.

Super indeed...fantastic aroma leads to a drink of earthy resinous pine forest. Also, a sticky candy like sweetness perfectly balances the hoppy bitterness. Finishes clean and leaves a lacing covering the glass top to bottom. Awesome.

Draft at fate, decent dipa, very strong malt flavors, sting hop flavors light on aroma but who knows how old the keg is, not bad

Pint form Trail Head Tavern. Appearance: finger of white head, straw color, clear., good lacing. Aroma: pine, caramel, floral. Palate: light sticky finish, boozy warming, average carbonation, medium body. Taste: sweet caramel into pine and floral hops, with a heavier bitter pine. Overall, lovely pine hops component, well balance, very nice beer. Very pleasant surprise from NB for this style. Very happy.

Backlog. On tap at Hops & Pie. Gold and clear appearance with a lacy white head. Resinous and piney hops in the aroma. Medium to heavy bitterness in the flavor. Pretty tasty, but I remember enjoying it more when it first came out.

Belmont station calls this Hew Belgium / Alpine Hop Kitchen Super Imperial IPA. Musky hops, a skunky tang, a little black pepper and syrup. Tastes like it smells but milder--resin, Saaz hops, mint, distant sweetness. clear darker yellow with medium white head.

Draft at public house in Ghent. So happy to have stumbled back across this! Been a few years. Aroma is a beautiful floral tropical fruit hops and a candy sweetness. Thick fleshy fruit tropical fruit hops in the flavor. Light to medium in body with a long lingering tropical fruit hops. Amazing IPA! Definitely thanks to alpines contribution.

On tap at Ale Arsenal. Funk, dank and slight citrus. Clear gold with full white head that patterns down the glass nicely. Taste is pine and resin. High bitterness lingers late.
