Jul 16, 2008 Pours a nice shade of yellow with a moderate white head. Light earthy hops on the nose with some grain and muted yeast character, as far as the brewery is concerned. I would definitely describe the taste as "crisp", cliched though that may be for pilsners. Also, some old rind flavors, mild hops, rye and a tart grain. Finishes bitter with a subtle tartness. Light bodied, but that’s the name of the game here. It’s not the best pilsner I’ve had, but you can’t go wrong with this. It tastes even better when you find it at a place where you expect only macros on the tap wall.

Jul 13, 2008 Two quality Pilseners in a row, though I’ll go with the Presque Isle over this. This is just a regular tasty Pilsener with all the regular ingredients you expect (including even the just-barely-not-quite-skunky aroma). Presque Isle has the distinction of being more distinctive.

Jul 5, 2008 Bottle from Brown Derby in Lebannon. A very good example of the style. Not as hoppy as I would have liked, but a good hop flavor. Big white head, golden clear. Nice hoppy finish. Definitely recommend.

Jul 5, 2008 Pours a light straw gold with little head. Aroma of grassy hops and sweet, earthy malts. Flavor is hoppy and earthy; plenty going on but not overpowering at all. Very well balanced. A nice refresher after an epic mountain bike ride in the alpine country of Colorado.
