Received 750 ml bottle via trade with 5000 and sampled at Skyview Sourfest II. Pours a hazy orange brown brew with a thin off-white head that slowly dissipates. Aroma of yeast and barnyard funk, tart citrus zest, some lemon, sourdough bread and a hint of spice. Taste is spritzy, tart berries and citrus flavors with yeast and wheat malt. Finish continues the tart and yeast aftertaste that even leaves behind a nice tart citrus and tart cherry presence.

Nice brown color, faint head. Lots of funk on the aroma - horse shit. Very nice tart body, soft finish mildly acidic. Faintly fruity. Very nice. 8/4/8/4/17

Bottle, thanks to AmEricanbrew. Orange body with a large, foamy head. Aroma was sour, barnyard and a bit of wheat. The flavor was sour, with barnyard and some cherries.

Big thanks to Americanbrew for bringing this. Pours with a large, foamy, off-white head over a hazed amber body. Aroma is funky with horse blanket, citrus-sour. Very lambic like. Taste is very sour with mostly a citrus-sour note and lighter funk. Awesome. Light carbonation.

T3. Hazy orange with a fluffy white head. Thick oil slick. Seriously tart on the nose. Serious tart flavor too. The tartness bounces flat on the palate. Fun the way it moves in the mouth.

StefanSD (2139) - Lakeside, California, USA - APR 5, 2009
Bottle at Toncatchers T3 tasting. Poured a cloudy yellow-brown color with a small white head. The aroma was overtly funky with tart grapes, wood and sourdough bread. The taste was similar tot he aroma, lots of musty sour grapes, with some spiced sour peaches added for good complexity. The mouthfeel was silky and a bit acidic. The finish was long and dry with lingering tartness. Overall: A great sour. How can the same brewery that makes the likes of Fat Tire make this too?

Served from a bottle at toncatchers T3 tasting! Thanks to stefanje, lagunitasfan, weeheavysd, fordest, wetherel, alohac and of course toncatcher for suppling the house and grub. By the time this one came out people were taking far less then I would expect. I was able to get 3 nice samples of this one. Pussys! A fantastic blen of sours. I love New Belgium and thier non main stream brews.

Bottle... C&P’sLYFO Throwdown... This beer rocks!... Cloudy golden ale with a very small, fizzy, white head. Funky, acidic, yeasty aroma and flavor – vintage cheese, warm sourdough and all the fantastic funkhouse characteristics of Le Terroir and Lips of Faith. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Finishes tart, tangy and dry. Thanks to fogdog for bringing this bottle to the Throwdown! Video = http://homepage.mac.com/maltajo/RATEBEER/iMovieThe
