On tap at New Belgium during GABF Week 2012. Pours with a hazy golden yellow hued body with a massive and creamy white head. Aromas are of tropical fruit, slightly overripened citrus, dank, grassy, melon, floral and minty. Flavors are floral and melon hops, spicy, dank, grassy and green. Low malt, light mint, lots of dry hop resin. Medium carbonation.

Tap sample at the brewery. Hazy deep yellow, small white head. Intense piney and earthy nose, with some citrus. Full hoppy flavor, some tannins, onion, high bitterness, light maltiness, marmalade and flour notes. Super long bitter finish, medium body, creamy and some alcohol is present. Nice.

On draft at New Belgium Tasting Room. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Nose is some light caramel, malt, grassy with hits of citrus interspersed. Flavor follows with grassy and herbal hops intermingling with some mild citrus. A nice, medium-bodied IIPA, that shows no sign of being so high in alcohol; drinks like a 4% IPA.

Pours a slightly hazed golden orange color with a white head. Sweet fruity hops, a nice tropical fruit aroma, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, and mango. Some toasted bread and a hint of pine. The flavor has a light pine bitterness, but is fairly sweet otherwise. Lots of fruit character to the taste, too. Some peach, pineapple, and grapefruit hops, and a nice floral quality, too.

Tap at New Belgium. Clear gold pour, white head. Dank and grassy is all you need to know. Sniffing and chewing on a grass and weed liquid. I don’t mind this style, but man is it ever dank!

On tap at the brewery, GABF weekend
Appearance: Clear golden with a big white head
Aroma: Grassy and citrus
Taste: Grassy and piney
Decent. Turns out I’m not a big fan of wet hopped beers, seems to be a lot of them out this year. Most are so grassy it takes away from the rest of the beer.

On tap at the brewery during GABF week. Pours a mostly clear dark copper color with a medium white head. A big fresh hoppy nose with citrus and caramel. Well balanced with nice smooth caramel and toasted malts, low bitterness, lots of citrus and green hops. Good.

Tap @ The Mayor of Old Town Foco. Pours a golden appearance with a nice white head. Grapefruity, rich resiny, spritzy pineapple, mango, a bit woody aroma. Soapy, herbal, passionfruity, mango flavor. Very nice stuff.
