Unearth your bottle-opener because this Pale Ale is something you can Dig. Sorachi Ace hops provides a fresh Spring zing with incredible lemon aroma. Nelson Sauvin is next in line with bursts of passion fruit, mango and peach. American favorites, Cascade and Centennial round out this crisp, clean Pale Ale. Dig in!

Overall a good hop forward pale ale with taste of grapefruit and pine that lingers on palate with good carbonation. Refreshing and very drinkable.

Draft at Green Leafe Williamsburg. Pours clingy copper with off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, hops. Tastes earthy, resiny hoppy, with spare caramel malt, and some floral bitterness in the finish.

February 2012. From bottle. Not a bad pale ale, but nothing special either. Drink and forget kind of beer. A little metallic flavors, but overall drinkable.

Overall very good pale ale, bomber, Whole Foods, easy to drink, some hops but nothing too intense.

Good APA... But can't hold a candle to Sierra Nevada PA in my opinion. Obviously it isn't trying to be Sierra Nevada, but SNPA is the gold standard for balance, flavor and drinkability. Dig is a bit sour and zingy on the hop end of things, and slightly toasty caramel on the malt side of things. Good... Not amazing.

Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from the Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a nice gold color with a frothy white head. The nose has a bit of citrus zest, cracker and grain notes. Fairly crisp on the tongue with a little King’s Hawaiian roll note and a touch of citrus. Light to medium body with slightly higher carbonation and a pretty clean finish. Solid summer fare.

Pours a clear golden amber with lasting head and spotty lacing. Aroma is lemon zest and sweet caramel malts, a little funky dank maybe. More malts than hops here. Taste is along similar lines - malty, a little sour funk, mild hop bitterness towards the end, with a mild bready aftertaste. Medium bodied with lots of carbonation. Easy to drink.

On tap. This is a great summer beer with the hops and the lemon flavors abounding.

Dull brown appearance, but with nice foamy head. Somewhat sourish aroma. A bit bitter on the palette. Taste not unpleasant, but probably not one I would buy again for my taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bold, clear amber with a firm, lasting head. Aroma is slightly citrus with tropical fruits in the back. Light grains finish it off. Flavor has some solid tropical notes, but not overly festive. A bit of cereal grain in the finish. Solid pale. Could easily go through a few of these in a night.
