Pours a clear gold color with a small-medium eggshell white head. Aroma of grassy, citrusy hops, sweet malts, pine resin, and grapefruit and orange peel. Flavor of abundant citrus, maybe more than the nose, with pine resin and caramel malts. Nice malt balance. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a resinous mouthfeel. Lingering bitterness. Good.

Bottle. Pours dark orange with thin fast dissipating head. Aroma of caramel, lemon and something like root beer. Light citrus with a note of something like jackfruit flavour. Zesty finish

Pours a nice dark amber, you could also say bronze, with a thumbs width white head. The head, though, doesnít stick around for too long and within a couple minutes (at most) its vanished, leaving behind a spotty coating on the surface with majority of the remains around the edges. Wonderful aroma; initial hit of some sweet but bright lemon rind. Following behind that is the sweet tropical fruits and caramel malt. As it warms, the sweet layer becomes the dominant aroma. I wish the aroma could have been a little bigger and bolder but it is still mighty fine. Flavor is awesome; sweet, tropical fruity, some peach, and a touch of prickly bitterness. A little pepper and hop bitterness lingers. Very nice and well balanced. A medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel with a bunch of carbonation. It needs the carbonation, though not sure it needs as much as it has. Not that big a deal though. Overall, I think this beer is pretty much fantastic and my first New Belgium six-pack offering that I have been genuinely pleased with. I tried a bunch of stuff I didnít care a heck of a lot for (some were decent but average, others just plain no good) but it was all worth it to get to this. Great seasonal, I look forward to drinking a bunch of this during its release.

A light amber color with an off-white head. Lots of citrus aromas to this one. Heavy on the lemon with a bit of grapefruit juice. Some floral and pine notes in the background as well. Lots of toasted bread throughout. Tastes quite heavy on the lemon. There is a bit of orange peel and just a hint of grapefruit. A light bitterness on the palate with a solid bready malt flavor.

This was a really tasty Colorado version of the American Pale Ale. In the top 3 of this I have tried.

Good hop expression: grassy guava and lemon zest, which is what you would expect from these hops. Quite hoppy and bitter in balance, with a little biscuit and caramel for balance but a dry and bittern finish. Body is in the lighter side and texture is smooth into a light astringency in the finish. The hops do get a little soapy in the finish, which detracts a little. The dry, doughy yeast character becomes a bit much as well. Canít say Iím a fan. The hop blend sounded promising, but the rest of the beer needs more roundness and balance to be pleasing.

Bottle pours clear orange with a nice frothy beige head. Aroma is mostly grainy malt, with some caramel and nut, and mild floral/citrus hops. Taste is also more malt forward with a nice citrus hop flavor with little bitterness. A solid beer, but after reading the description, I was expecting a little more hop boldness.

Beautiful golden color, frothy head and good lacing. The ricey Sorachi hops are prominent in the nose. Sweet and immensely grainy. I donít get all this mango, peach and whatnot in the description. Itís grainy and floral. A bit thick and heavy in the mouth for what the flavors are. Itís tastes okay, I just canít imagine a time where Iíd be craving this. Itís flavors are more suited to a lighter and more crisp beer, where this thing is sweet and thick.

Pours a clear, pale copper with a 2 finger, fluffy, eggshell head. Aroma is big on lemon and sweet orange, a little mango and stone fruit, cereal grain, buttered toast and a hint of caramel. Flavor is slightly sweet cereal grain, and hay up front, mixed citrus zest, spicy, lemon/lime soda, toffee, a little tropical fruit, tree fruit/berry like notes, sweet caramel and bitter citrus and tropical fruit salad to the finish. Palate is somewhat light in body, with a light, but quite sharp carbonation that kicks in immediately and lasts until the (quick) finish. Pretty good overall, a little too lemony for my taste. Even as I read my own review this stuff sounds really good, but somehow it just doesnít quite come together for me.
