Bottle. Purchased at Kroger, newest shipment. Poured pint glass. Wow this is a great APA! Aroma is mostly pine and the color is a faded Amber red. No lacing and pours an appetizing foamy head. The taste is one that rivals my favorite APA, 3 Floyd’s Alpha King.. crisp, clean finish and refreshing. A 65 degree day here in Nashville today. Perfect beer for a sign of spring!!

Copper color with a white head. The aroma is pine, caramel, and oranges. The flavor is rather bitter with some citrus and caramel. Well balanced with some malt presence. Overall this is a good pale ale.

12 oz. bottle. Orangish amber pour with a medium white head. Aroma features the typical New Belgium doughy malt, some citrus and mango hops. Mild peach, some tea, a few notes of bread dough malt. Some caramel. Flavor is doughy, mild tea and citrus. Some pine, lemongrass. Pretty simple and unspectacular. However, it’s drinkable. Sessionable.

Draft @ Conyers Mellow Mushroom. Pours a golden amber orange. Aroma is sweet citrusy hops. Taste is bright citrus hops with a light crispness about it. Still has a decent caramel malt backbone. Damn this is going to be a good beach beer (although way too early right now).

Tasted at the 2012 St. Louis Centennial Beer Festival from bottle into sampler glass. Poured a clear, deep amber color with decent head and a little lace. emon-cream aroma of Sorachi Ace hops plus some malt, bread, fruity ale yeast esters. Nice rich, biscuity malt sweetness with citrus rind tang and balanced hops bitterness. Medium body, lingering tart, bittersweet aftertaste. Very tasty.

Sampled at the Richmond 17th Gathering. Clear golden pour with ample white head. Nice clean zesty hop character. Some mango and peach as well. Refreshing, but not exactly crisp. Pretty good brew.

Beer 3 Richmond 17th. Light caramel malt and slightly citric hop aroma. Flavor is a match, hops in balance, not really that assertive. Not a bad beer, but not anything standout either. Light amber, decent head. Probably better than the score indicates.
