Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours copper with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma is unusual. Floral? Earthy? Both? Med body. Flavor is floral, earthy and lightly fruity. This is a pretty hoppy little beer.

Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Draft. Clear golden color, small white head, nice lacing. Aroma of straw and caramel. Taste is bitter straw. Body is better than the taste.

Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness,lemon zest, mango, pine and citrus. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, lemon zest, pine, light mango and light citrus with a crisp lingering bitter finish.

Tap at Mahaffey’s. Pours clear amber with a medium, creamy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is fruity esters, cookie and honey malt, pine, citrus and resiny hops. Flavor is medium hops and bitterness with supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

Bottle (best before of 13May12). Pours with a completely clear orange to very light copper hued body with a large and lasting bone colored white head. Great lace and retention. Aromas are of lemon zest, citrus hops, lightly dank, candied ginger and orange, passion fruit, light, dusty and bready malt, some mango. Really zesty. Mild alcohol noted. Flavors are a bit more malt forward than the aroma. Soft, bready and biscuity. Very nice malt flavor. Bitterness is pretty low and in the background. Hop flavors are also sadly a bit more subdued than the nose. Citrus, lemon, grapefruit pith, light pine-sol. Some peach. Dry, medium to light bodied with fuller carbonation. Good pale ale!
