Unearth your bottle-opener because this Pale Ale is something you can Dig. Sorachi Ace hops provides a fresh Spring zing with incredible lemon aroma. Nelson Sauvin is next in line with bursts of passion fruit, mango and peach. American favorites, Cascade and Centennial round out this crisp, clean Pale Ale. Dig in!

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice goldenrod color. Aroma is grassy, hay and hops. Flavor is solid floral hops up front with a backbone of caramel malt. Sipped one of these while sitting on the back porch on a rare sunny Seattle day recently. Spring has sprung! I dig it.

Hoppy with notes of citrus. Light bodied and a little unbalanced in the direction of citrus profiles

Bottle from 2012 notes. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have some citrus and tropical fruit notes, toasted malts, hints of resin and soapy floral notes, nothing bad per say, just a decent straight forward APA.

"it may be Mighty Arrow’s equal with some time, but so far the replacer falls juuuust short of the replacee. Very nice pale, though, just wish they did both. nice hoppy aroma and bitterness for an apa. the flavor really shines with the odd sorachi lemony-soapiness and the tropical fruit. wish there was more of that in the aroma, but it’s still pretty dang nice."

Draft. Pours clear golden with nice white head. Nose is some bread with a little hops. Taste is some malt and caramel and a little hops. Dry on the backend.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Lemon zest, citrus, and floral notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a tropical fruit note. Not bad.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste citrus, sweet, grass. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice lemony, citrus aroma. However, the taste does not match that well. Citrus, lemon peel, orange peel. Decent beer.

July 9th, 2012 - New Belgium’s Ranger is one of the most distinct IPAs available in broader markets, and that gave me high hopes for Dig. These are IPAs true to their Colorado origins. Or at least, they’re not San Diegan IPAs, which have turned into a homogeneous blob in my memory. NB’s Dig is a pleasing foxy orange color, with a mottled head, and your average amount of lacing - no exceptional crowns or laurels of bubbles. The aroma has a mild hops aroma, toasted, with a lovely biscuits-baking-in-the-kitchen aroma. I also catch the slight scent of pickled carrots too, like those found in taco shops across San Diego. The flavor is similar: mild, mild hops, a wonderful well toasted and baked biscuit. Grapefruit bitterness and sweetness provides a bit of a shine, but overall, this IPA comes off as mild, yet springy.

Very heavy citrus presence in both aroma and flavors. Darker color than usual for a pale.
