To start i can’t really give this a fair rating being a buddy brought it to me a late night after work in the dark. But with that said. I was pleasantly surprised by this beer. I see it advertised everywhere so i just assumed it was a bland everybody beer. Now it did blow me away but it is a nice middle of road beer. Easy to drink and not filling. Couldn’t tell you what it looked like or how it smelled. But defiantly a beer i would buy.

Has a pleasant, sweet aroma. Fairly sweet, very simple flavor, but unfortunately has a fair amount of astringency. Too light and simple to be a good amber ale.

Figured I’d knock this old go to out. Draft pours amber-gold. Thick lacy white head served in a frozen point glass. This sweet smelling brew. Meh

One of my favorites. Could easily be labeled an Oktoberfest in my opinion. The biscuity taste is very pronounced, tasty, and unique. New Belgium’s original flagship brew.

Bomber poured into a plastic cup while at h2O. Drinking beers at the car show.
A - Pours nice amber orange with a dense two finger tall off white head leaving small rings of lace down the glass.
S - Smells of sweet caramel malts, toffee, dulled hops, and some fresh baked buttered biscuits...Based on the nose this one is a little past its prime.
T - Starts off with a big dose of sweet caramel malt slowly giving way to a mix of even more toffee sweetness, dulled out hops and some light buttery notes. There is plenty of biscuity taste and feel in this one. The finish is a mix of sweetness and chewiness, lingering on the pallet for some time.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Sweet, slightly chewy, feel that lingers on the pallet for some time.
O - I can see why people love this beer but I still greatly prefer Troegs Hopback to this, just for the sheer fact that I know it will be fresher than any Fat Tire I could get my hands on.

Very tasty, a milder version of oktoberfest beer, seems lighter so can drink more. Also has a sweet bottom.

Smooth and enjoyable amber ale. One of the starter beers for me that got me into exploring craft beer.

From bottle. This is a favorite easy-drinking amber ale and an excellent introductory beer to offer someone who is new to the world of beers beyond the mass-produced straw-colored lagers. Some head, some lacing. Clear amber color. Aroma and taste are fruity, light caramel and biscuit. Gently hopped. A hoppy bite on the finish but not at all bitter. Malty but not too sweet. A pleasure to drink.

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. One of those beers you hear a lot about but I’ve never had. Clear orange amber colour lasting off white head. It is what it says on the tin. An amber ale. A well put together amber ale, but still an amber ale. Some biscuit. Not much but ok bitterness. A biscuity amber ale. Again well put together.
