2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear amber color with a finger and a half of off white head and decent amount of carbination. Had aromas of caramel, butterscotch, and grains. Taste was moderately sweet, and a sticky butterscotch taste was left behind. For them to be describing this as inspired by Belgian beers, it is really light and bland. I bet that this is a watered down version of the original recipe.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. Copper color with a very thin head. Aromas of caramel malt and dark fruits. Flavors are grassy notes, bready tones, brown sugar and biscuit. Very mild hop presence. Not bad, but not terribly interesting.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
i get a Belgian ale out of this one with light spice and lemony grass. hop comes in and gives it a two tone flavor approach. seemingly lighter refreshing and with some brown sugar sweetness.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a thin head on a clear darker straw body.
The aroma has a little fruit basket going on with a little caramel.
The taste has some biscuit and caramel flavor joined by a mild lemon bitterness. Good balance.
The texture is crisp.

On draft poured in frozen mug. Aroma and appearance didn’t have any wow factor. Was alright tasting, but would choose myriad of others.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle (12oz). Had in bottle at party. This one leans toward the malt side. I got very little of the hop flavors or bitterness. Very easy drinking and pretty tasty.

A well known beer. Tastes alright. Nothing special. Way better than any inbev or Coors product. Better micros out there

Flaska i LA. Ganska svag doft av malt och jäst. Väldigt lättdrucken och inga smaker som sticker ut. Inte särskilt spännande.

Can at Brewdog bar Stockholm. Limited aroma and taste. Not up to date with newer craft beers.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear amber brown. Bread crust, grains, toast, light caramel, biscuity malt, and a hint of citrus but mainly earthy hops. Nothing special, a nice sessionable amber. Pretty light body with a decently long finish. Decent.

What’s left to say about this one? One of the better macros out there. Widely available and appeals to a broad range of palates. This one practically screams autumn to me. Could easily pass as one of the best Oktoberfest’s out there. Maybe a tad too sweet to be a staple, but definitely a regular in the rotation in the fall and winter months.
