Astringent mouthfeel, but mild bitterness. Bready flavors with a tiny amount of tartness. No head, but thatís okay. Endlessly drinkable and very dependable. Not the most complex beer, but enjoyable.

I seriously canít believe this is New Belgiumís flagship beer. Bitter, stale, basenent odor. Easily their worst brew.

Rating #1007 - February 26, 2014 - I know Iíve had this before (for sure in the Denver airport once upon a long ago) but here goes the review. $13.99 CAD for a 6 pack at Coop in one of the dumbest promotions to date (margin giveaway on a destination item, failing common sense 101). 5.2%. Clear amber/toffee coloured pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma has a hint of malty sweetness, and a strong earthy, roasty aroma. Medium carbonation. Bubbly, dry mouthfeel, medium-bodied. Light bitterness in the finish, quite smooth. Hoppy punch that is understated and a marbley-malty sweet note. Delicious.

Nästan Golden i färg. Lätt kolsyrad med ett skum som dog fort. Lite sur karamellig skumbanan.

22 ounce bottle, enjoy by date of March 30, 2014. Itís been quite a few years since I last had Fat Tire, so now that New Belgium distributes to Ohio I figured Iíd pick up a bomber. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear orange/copper color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like toasted, caramel and bready malt, apples, and a bit of herbalness. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but thereís also some peppery spice and nuts noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, itís well carbonated and easy to drink. I think itís a good amber ale, Iíd pick it up again if I was in the mood for this style of beer. $2.99 a bomber.

Mildly bready, not amber by any definition of the word, faint hops, light body, smooth and easy to drink but unremarkable

Solid good tasting amber ale. A hidden fridge filled with fat tire saved me from drinking bud on a wedding.

Pours with good carbonation and a foamy fead. Aroma is of toasted bicuit malt. Standard malt flavor with a bit of spice on the back. Sticky mouthfeel with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Mostly malt
