3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Mild biscuit malt aroma, and pours a clear amber, with a thin cap of white head. This is a mild flavored beer as well, with toasted biscuit malts being the predominant flavor, and very mild hopping. Slightly slick on the palate, and a drinkable beer, this is a good one to introduce people to craft beer.

This looks and tastes like something on the good side of a macro - pale pour and cheap beer smell. Thankfully redeemed when you actually drink it, aka where it counts. Caramel candi sweetness along with lots of fruit and some interesting yeast. Smooth and soft mouthfeel is quite refreshing. Good and ubiquitous everywhere except for Boston it seems, drink this from the bottle and you’ll be happy.

Has a pleasant, sweet aroma. Fairly sweet, very simple flavor, but unfortunately has a fair amount of astringency. Too light and simple to be a good amber ale.

Figured I’d knock this old go to out. Draft pours amber-gold. Thick lacy white head served in a frozen point glass. This sweet smelling brew. Meh

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
One of my favorites. Could easily be labeled an Oktoberfest in my opinion. The biscuity taste is very pronounced, tasty, and unique. New Belgium’s original flagship brew.

Bomber poured into a plastic cup while at h2O. Drinking beers at the car show.
A - Pours nice amber orange with a dense two finger tall off white head leaving small rings of lace down the glass.
S - Smells of sweet caramel malts, toffee, dulled hops, and some fresh baked buttered biscuits...Based on the nose this one is a little past its prime.
T - Starts off with a big dose of sweet caramel malt slowly giving way to a mix of even more toffee sweetness, dulled out hops and some light buttery notes. There is plenty of biscuity taste and feel in this one. The finish is a mix of sweetness and chewiness, lingering on the pallet for some time.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Sweet, slightly chewy, feel that lingers on the pallet for some time.
O - I can see why people love this beer but I still greatly prefer Troegs Hopback to this, just for the sheer fact that I know it will be fresher than any Fat Tire I could get my hands on.

Very tasty, a milder version of oktoberfest beer, seems lighter so can drink more. Also has a sweet bottom.

Smooth and enjoyable amber ale. One of the starter beers for me that got me into exploring craft beer.
