3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(draft @ New Belgium Brewing - Fort Collins, CO) Dark red pour with a light pink head. Aroma is tart raspberries and a very light hint of chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor isn’t as sweet as I was expecting. More tart fruit that gives way to dry wheat malt middle and a very lightly sweet finish. Different.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a clear ruby red color with not much head. Aroma is just raspberries but it’s pretty nice. Taste is all raspberry too, maybe a little leather and metallic notes. Light sweetness. Slightly tart in the finish. Solid raspberry fruit beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 12oz bottle. Pours amber to burgundy with a sight white head. Aroma is fruity with strong tartness. Taste is immediately berry flavored with similar tart components. Smooth mouthful with low carbonation. Lingering tart/malt between sips. Overall this is a new take on a Belgian lambic with an American twist. Glad I tried one bottle... Not going to be a repeat for me yet I will recommend for someone looking for this style.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance is a clear, deep ruby red, with a small white foam cap. Aroma is some toasted, nutty malt, with a distinct berry. Taste starts with a slightly toasted malt and quickly gives way to an intense raspberry, cherry, and slight raisin character. Mouthfeel is light to medium with low carbonation. Very dry. Finishes on the maltier side, with some lingering tartness from the raspberry

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Rusty, amber color with a small off white head. Aroma is primarily sweet raspberry. Initial flavor is sweet malts before a semi tart, raspberry juice finish. The tartness does not linger too long so it leaves the palate clean. Average carbonation with a syrupy texture. Worth checking out if you’re a fan of a balanced fruit beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12/28/13. 12oz bottle from Chan’s in Destin. That a loon? That is no loon. Oh well. Here goes. Clear red brown pour with a small khaki head that fades. Light, sweet raspberry on the aroma, some biscuit and chocolate, huskiness, and seltzer water. Mild flavor, sweet raspberry, not too much, chocolate, biscuit graininess. Not bad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had this one out of the bottle from Sportstown in Orlando. Pours an amber color with a tan head with a touch of pink. The taste was not over powered by raspberries which allowed for it to resemble a brown ale in some sense. It was a nice balance.
