3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Bruisiní Ales. Pours brown with a rubyish tinge to it. Nice delicate raspberry notes on the tongue. The raspberry taste is pronounced without being cloying. Itís nicely balanced by the hops. Has kind if a tart finish to it. Very nice!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Whispering Trees Liquor: Color was dark amber red with a weak thin head that left behind a heavy trail of lace. The aroma is thick with fruit and has a strong resemblance to boysenberry jam or cranberry juice and no other obvious smells that would lead my nose to believe this was an actual beer. As for the drink, it starts out with sweet and tart flavors and holds a strong taste of raspberry/cranberry juice while a minor taste of red grapes come through too. Considering this was a fruit beer, this was actually quite decent even though it did go down harsh and make me want to cough sometimes.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is well done. Fruity aroma with some malts and yeast. Reddish copper color; ruby, I guess if you want to go by the bottle. Light palate but not watery. Good carbonation to match the noticeable head. Very nice dry finish that reminded me of champagne. The raspberry flavor was definitely up front to match the aroma. To call this a brown ale as described would be a stretch as I detected few characteristics. The fruit took it over but it wasnít overpowering. Very little hops presence and very easy to drink.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is certainly one of the better fruit beers. Aroma is fruity and filled with some raspberry notes. Taste is fruity but not overly sweet or syrupy. There is also a nice malt base present that really balances the brew. The finishes is smooth with medium to light body and not overly carbonated. nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fruity but not super sweet. Lots of dry raspberry in the nose. Tart raspberry up front that opens into a nice malty flavor. The combo of the berry and the toasted malt is great. Finishes dry and crisp and doesnít fatigue the palate. Seek this one out if you like raspberry but canít stand most of the hyper-sweet offerings that are out there. Itís a welcome change.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle pours a clear browninsh-red with 2 finger white head but very little lacing. Aroma is mostly raspberries, but with enought malts for balance. Body is light to medium with very lively carbonation. Taste is tart. Iím not a fan of most fruit beers but this one does the job with nothing offensive to me. Iíd like it more with less carbonation and a more complex aroma.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bright reddish-brown. Strong raspberry aroma up front, not too sweet, not sour. The flavor follows the same path, with a pleasing acidity. Fairly light bodied and no hint of a brown ale here. Very well made, but too one-dimensional for me.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a nice clear reddish brown with quickly fading head and good lacing. Aroma is mainly raspberry - there isnít a whole lot more going on - with just a hint of malt halfway through the glass. Taste is dominated by raspberry, just tart enough not to be too cloying. Goes down easy, but thereís not enough beer element here to make it worthwhile. It might as well be a light carbonated raspberry juice. To be fair, it was 2 weeks past "Best By" date, and 7% ABV is respectable - so Iíll go easy on it.
