2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pretty dank and skunky and skunky on the nose. Fat and a little hot in the mouth. Big mouthfeel, awkward sweetness, this is obviously not fresh at this point. Certainly a New Belgium yeast character to it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Once Upon a Vine, opened 11/19/13. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of nutty malts and some caramel with earthy, herbal, green hops and a bit of citrus. The taste is earthy, green, vegetal hops, muted caramel malts. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering bitterness. Solid.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber to pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent light golden orange with off-white head. Smells of fresh hops and pale malt. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A solid Fresh-hopped IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not as good as the others in the series from what I recall. Clear dull golden pour with good white head. Smells very green and fresh and wet. Flavor is similar, but has a skunky dankness that I donít normally come across. Bitterness is there, but the hops more provide an oily, aromatic, flavorful addition, rather than just bitterness. Good for hopheads Iíd imagine, but not the best ipa by any stretch.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from brown bomber bottle into a snifter glass. It poured a clear light golden amber colour with sudsy white foam, long-lasting with lace. Very nice appearance. Intense green Crystal and Sterling hops flavour and aroma, but not terribly bitter. A strong IPA for sure, but balanced as such. New world meets noble characteristics, and lots of them: pine resin, black currant, black pepper, woodsy, floral, ganja, and some lemon rind notes reminiscent of Sorachi Ace or Progress. Solid but non-descript malt flavour underneath, medium body and carbonation, smooth alcohol, lingering hoppy aftertastes. Really tasty beer, highly recommended.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber. Pours a deep clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is of earthy, grassy hops. Flavor is of green grassy hops and light toasted malt. This is nice. No "sweet malt" backbone; this one is dry and moderately bitter.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Definitely lots of hop to it, resiny, piney, almost like good pot bud. But in the end itís a little harsh to me--unbalanced.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The color of this beer is a clear tawny, and a large pillowy white head sits on top of the liquid. The strong aroma is pure hops--resin and floral scents to be specific, and the taste is mildly bitter, slightly swwet, and a touch sour; however, no one element overpowers the others, and it is overall really balanced and pleasant. The mouthfeel is also intriguing due to the soft carbonation, medium body, slick texture, and slightly bitter finish. Overall, this beer is better and more balanced than I was expecting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours clear golden with an attractive off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale ale flavor with a pretty bitter hoppy finish. Yes, it is nice and fresh.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Serving: 22 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a nice amber color with a lasting white head. Great lacing too. Nice blast of pine in the nose. Slight sweetness up front quickly balanced out by a load of pine and citrus notes. Medium to full bodied with softer carbonation. Solid, economical brew.
