Definitely lots of hop to it, resiny, piney, almost like good pot bud. But in the end it’s a little harsh to me--unbalanced.

EtTuCthulhu (1006) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - DEC 22, 2013
The color of this beer is a clear tawny, and a large pillowy white head sits on top of the liquid. The strong aroma is pure hops--resin and floral scents to be specific, and the taste is mildly bitter, slightly swwet, and a touch sour; however, no one element overpowers the others, and it is overall really balanced and pleasant. The mouthfeel is also intriguing due to the soft carbonation, medium body, slick texture, and slightly bitter finish. Overall, this beer is better and more balanced than I was expecting.

marcus (6364) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 20, 2013
Bottle from Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours clear golden with an attractive off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale ale flavor with a pretty bitter hoppy finish. Yes, it is nice and fresh.

Elwood (3027) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - DEC 16, 2013
Serving: 22 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a nice amber color with a lasting white head. Great lacing too. Nice blast of pine in the nose. Slight sweetness up front quickly balanced out by a load of pine and citrus notes. Medium to full bodied with softer carbonation. Solid, economical brew.

bottle. Pretty average IPA - mild, nothing that jumps out - the kind of IPA you expect from a larger, Macro-brewery.

SHIG (3555) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Bottle: Poured a golden orange color with a fluffy two finger white head. Aroma is fresh hops that blasts you as soon as the bottle opens. Taste is sweet but pungent hops that have a fruit/floral presence. Finish is mellow.

Bottled, clear orange color with frosty foam, sweet fresh pine needle aroma, flavor is ripe , dank citrus and pine, clean creamy finish

EdInSaltLake (593) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - DEC 12, 2013
Floral, herbal hop and light toasty malt aroma. Floral, generic fruity/fruit candy hop flavor. Light toasted malt; more in finish. Bitter aftertaste.

Gription79 (2236) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - DEC 11, 2013
Poured from a 12 ounce bomber, thanks to Ed. The aroma is big floral hop notes, slightly herbal. The flavor is fruity, like gummy candy, artificial fruit, there is slight lemon in the finish. The malts are a back ground note and come across as a soft bready, grainy flavor. Not bad, unique hop character.

penstemon (127) - - DEC 10, 2013
Pours light brownish amber with a white head. Aroma is fairly light all around, with tangerine, some spruce, and a bit of malt. Taste is citrus, a bit of pine and black tea, malt, and slight-medium bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin, especially as it warms. My expectations were higher for this.
