22 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Dark orange pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of spicy hops, tangerine, and grapefruit. The taste offers bitter piney hops, lemon zest, Earth, and caramel. The bitterness does not linger on the palate. A good IPA.

Bomber from the Arden BevMo. Pours rather orange with a foamy off-white or beige head. Aroma is sort of dank. Or nasty greenish veg. Whatever floats your boat. Itís hoppy. Med +body. Flavor is lots of greenish stuff over almost lost caramel, and itís hoppy/bitter. This is earthy/herby/maybe ? Itís astringent, dry, veg, bitter, and .... Itís really very good ale. Gobsmacking!

Draft at Heavy Riff, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear golden color with a finger of white head. The aroma and flavor are so, so clean- pine, herbs (mint, rosemary, fresh cut grass), lemon citrus, and pale and slightly sweet malts that take a backseat. Light-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a bright, fresh, clean mouthfeel. Really nicely done.

Amber colored pour with a small lacy off white head. Notes of brown sugar, grass, tropical fruit, and biscuit. Awkward mouthfeel and short finish.

Bottle with a best before of 23Feb2014. Pours with a crystal clear golden hued body with a lasting offwhite head that leaves good lace. Aromas are earthy, biscuity, nutty and grainy. Earthy, grassy, herbal and resiny hop character. Low ester. Flavors are nutty and toasty with light citrus, grass and resin. Light papaya. Clean. Lively carbonation, medium-low body. Dry.

Pours clear light copper with an off-white head. The aroma has mint, fruit, pine, caramel and rich malt offsetting. For some reason Sterling hops remind me of winter. It has a medium / full body with mild sharp carbonation. The flavor begins with a balance of minty / piney hops and dry caramel bready malt. The finish has spice, light alcohol and some medicine traits. It is quite nice and more balanced that most fresh hop beers, but the hops still show nicely. Nice value for the price as well.

Pour form a 24oz bomber. Golden clear ale with two fingers of head that fades. Ample lacing. Aroma of a fantasy hops garden - pineapple, resin, aromatic floral tones. No weakness in the aroma. Taste in perfectly balanced - mildly sweet malt at the very start, hops jump in very early with a solid bitter resin wave that breaks into complex notes of spice, earth and citrus. Smooth palate. One of the best balanced IPAs New Belgium brews. Excellent.

Bomber. Pours a clear gold with a massive sudsy head and aromas of resin and pineapple. Flavor has a juicy fruit front end and a pine backside. Mouthfeel is thin and there is a bit of a chunky graininess that comes through from time to time.

Poured from a bomber. Aroma is pine, pepper, and grainy cereal. Flavors are pine, black pepper, slight citrus, caramel and a grainy cereal flavor. Decent fresh hop, actually kind of spicy and bitter. Not overly aggressive or anything just kind of meh.
