Poured from a 12 ounce bomber, thanks to Ed. The aroma is big floral hop notes, slightly herbal. The flavor is fruity, like gummy candy, artificial fruit, there is slight lemon in the finish. The malts are a back ground note and come across as a soft bready, grainy flavor. Not bad, unique hop character.

Pours light brownish amber with a white head. Aroma is fairly light all around, with tangerine, some spruce, and a bit of malt. Taste is citrus, a bit of pine and black tea, malt, and slight-medium bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin, especially as it warms. My expectations were higher for this.

Bomber to glass. Pours a clear copper with light head with some lacing. Smell is different, earthy, sweet, dough with a little fresh hop. Taste same as smell but not a typical IPA dank and resin you would expect. It's good if your not looking for a true west coast IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Gold/amber with a cream head. Nose is fresh hops, bitter, resin, and pine. Easy palate, smooth hops, bitter, resin, pine, lightly sticky.

Crystal clear deep golden pour with a thin soapy head. Moderate lacing with a slightly astringent (although hoppy) nose. Nice enough, but nothing overwhelmingly special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle. Clear amber/orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, vegetal, grassy, citrus and some biscuit malt. Flavor is malty with a medium to low hop bitterness and some "green" hop taste. Medium body with average carbonation. Not bad.

I donít mind drinking this one by New Belgium. Itís not my favorite, but there are some strong points, itís drinkable ladies and gents. Nothing is really tugging at my heart strings. Fair?

22 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Dark orange pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of spicy hops, tangerine, and grapefruit. The taste offers bitter piney hops, lemon zest, Earth, and caramel. The bitterness does not linger on the palate. A good IPA.

Bomber from the Arden BevMo. Pours rather orange with a foamy off-white or beige head. Aroma is sort of dank. Or nasty greenish veg. Whatever floats your boat. Itís hoppy. Med +body. Flavor is lots of greenish stuff over almost lost caramel, and itís hoppy/bitter. This is earthy/herby/maybe ? Itís astringent, dry, veg, bitter, and .... Itís really very good ale. Gobsmacking!

phaleslu (7419) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Draft at Heavy Riff, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear golden color with a finger of white head. The aroma and flavor are so, so clean- pine, herbs (mint, rosemary, fresh cut grass), lemon citrus, and pale and slightly sweet malts that take a backseat. Light-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a bright, fresh, clean mouthfeel. Really nicely done.
