On tap at Yard House Houston. A dense, finger thick off-white head sits on top of a clear golden body. There’s some peach in the aroma, but it’s the citrus peel, grapefruit and pine cones that dominates. The flavor has a fine bitterness, some sweetness in the back and a good dash of pine cones and grapefruit. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Long finish with a tad too much sweetness, but there’s enough bitterness to deal with it. Nice. 131114

Bomber from the Arden BevMo. Pours rather orange with a foamy off-white or beige head. Aroma is sort of dank. Or nasty greenish veg. Whatever floats your boat. It’s hoppy. Med +body. Flavor is lots of greenish stuff over almost lost caramel, and it’s hoppy/bitter. This is earthy/herby/maybe ? It’s astringent, dry, veg, bitter, and .... It’s really very good ale. Gobsmacking!

Tap @ New Belgium. Pours a dark golden appearance with a white head and good lacing. Soapy herbal, somewhat spicy, grassy hoppy, a bit green aroma. Mild ganja, chewy herbal, floral flavor. The beer has really green hops which I’m not sure I like very much.
