On tap at Yard House Houston. A dense, finger thick off-white head sits on top of a clear golden body. Thereís some peach in the aroma, but itís the citrus peel, grapefruit and pine cones that dominates. The flavor has a fine bitterness, some sweetness in the back and a good dash of pine cones and grapefruit. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Long finish with a tad too much sweetness, but thereís enough bitterness to deal with it. Nice. 131114

Bomber from the Arden BevMo. Pours rather orange with a foamy off-white or beige head. Aroma is sort of dank. Or nasty greenish veg. Whatever floats your boat. Itís hoppy. Med +body. Flavor is lots of greenish stuff over almost lost caramel, and itís hoppy/bitter. This is earthy/herby/maybe ? Itís astringent, dry, veg, bitter, and .... Itís really very good ale. Gobsmacking!

Bomber from Once Upon a Vine, opened 11/19/13. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of nutty malts and some caramel with earthy, herbal, green hops and a bit of citrus. The taste is earthy, green, vegetal hops, muted caramel malts. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering bitterness. Solid.

Tap @ New Belgium. Pours a dark golden appearance with a white head and good lacing. Soapy herbal, somewhat spicy, grassy hoppy, a bit green aroma. Mild ganja, chewy herbal, floral flavor. The beer has really green hops which Iím not sure I like very much.

2014 - a good fresh hop beer, though not really a standout for new Belgium. Balanced aroma and flavor with caramel mLts and nut, muted citrus and evergreen.

Draft at Heavy Riff, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear golden color with a finger of white head. The aroma and flavor are so, so clean- pine, herbs (mint, rosemary, fresh cut grass), lemon citrus, and pale and slightly sweet malts that take a backseat. Light-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a bright, fresh, clean mouthfeel. Really nicely done.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big grass, pine, hints of earth, slight orange peel, touch of grapefruit into biscuit, bread, slight spice. Taste is a mix of pine, grass, dank notes into orange, grapefruit, slight biscuit, bready notes into a mix of grain, finishing bitter.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2013 Bottle. Clear amber. Sweet onion and tropical fruit gum hop-forward nose with notes of sap / resin, orange oil, caramel. Cleanly fermented but the hops are crude and raw smelling. Cloyingly sweet, some bitterness, some acid. Medium body and chewy. Sugar and celery and onions.
