3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: 22 oz bottle from State Line, 5/9/13
Aroma: The nose has some earthy and spicy hops, floral notes, biscuit, caramel, and a bit of citrus
Appearance: A clear golden-orange color with a thick froth of off-white head and heavy lacing
Flavor: Tastes mid-sweet, with a nice malt presence, spice, earth, and a clean, hoppy finish
Palate: It has a medium body, lively carbonation, a really clean mouthfeel, and a dryish finish
A Hop Kitchen series? That sounds like something I might be interested in. As for this beer, I like it. It’s a really quality, well-made hoppy lager. It is quite crisp and enjoyable. It really emphasizes my favorite aspects of some of the better examples of golden colored lagers (specifically the crisp, clean hop feel). Very solid stuff. Rating this one right after Nick, but not with him. Good to see you rating again buddy!

Draft at the hub in the DÍA airport. The appearance of this beer is freaking EPPICK. Mesmerizing deep golden color with a thick lasting white head and bubbles shootin’ on up to the top from the bottom like a rat up a drainpipe. Malty aroma with nut, earth, and resin notes. Great balance on the flavor with the malt backbone of a bock along with fairly assertive earthy and citrusy hops. Medium-bodied and smooth with good carbonation. Solid brewski.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A clear bright light golden with a finger of white head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet citrus and cracker malt with a bit of spice and floral hops. Taste is citrus sweet and somewhat spicy with a biscuit malt flavor and light grassy bittern. Finishes semi dry with a mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is oily and is light/medium bodied with medium carbonation. Refreshing and very drinkable. I like the spiciness and mild sweetness paired with the moderate bitter. Makes for a nice drinking spring lager at a very reasonable price.

I can smell the hops almost like if i was brewing them myself. The color is a nice pale golden color with a nice rich white head. It tastes very germanish light bogy and a nice hoppy flavor. Not so bitter but a good flavor. It has a creamy mouth feel and good carb. A decent sumertime brew. Good job on the germen theme. Worth a buy

22 ounce bomber from Brusin Ales. Hoppy sweet and caramel lager. Caramel stands out. Decent. At $5 a good deal.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
light invigorating hop smell that woke my salivary glands like one of pavlov’s dogs. A clear strong gold appearance like a dehydrated straight edge kid taking a piss test. Taste was delicious floral rye, hop start. A clean transitional middle to a delicious gentle malt yeast coating on my lounge as the liquid disappeared. Palate left slightly coated but refreshed ready for another sip. This actually sit right next to the Kick and Clutch as my favorite New Belgium Beers.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled at DLD 2013. It poured a light golden color with a white head. The aroma was very sweet with hints of citrus. The taste was sweet and lightly bitter with the mild caramel flavor expected of a bock. Enjoyable.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear light amber with a very thick and rather persistent white head. OK, this is a lager, give it a chance. Hearty aroma has a malty core and firm pineapple and hoppy notes plus a hint of cloves. Now for where the proverbial rubber meets the proverbial road: Whoa, interesting flavor - and I mean that in a good way. Pineapple and hops dominate, but malty and subtle apple and cloves notes manage to stake a claim of taste buds. Very refreshing, a perfect beer for spring. Smooth texture has about average fizz and body, maybe a little above average. Bock it to me!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep gold pour, white head. An interesting take on a spicy hopped beer and some malty lager. The rye is a nice addition, godd bodied and pretty easy to drink.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a rocky eggshell colored head that reduces to a thin film after a few minutes. Smells faintly grassy, with even a bit of honey character. Front/middle of tongue, tastes sweet, with a slight spice, back the hop presence is definitely there, but for being a 70 IBU beer, this doesn’t taste it. Finishes pleasantly bitter, and sweet. Super balanced, with a perfect hop presence. Will buy more.
