Hazy gold beer with a good white head. Palate starts smooth but turns minerally crisp. Light airy creamy malt with a whisper of caramel. Balanced by hops that taste more NZ than Noble! Light pine and mellow lime. Finishes light. Nicely done, super drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle @ home picked up at Aggie Liquor in Fort Collins. Pours a clear, dark golden appearance with a white head that doesnít have the best retention. Fairly earthy, floral hoppy aroma with a bit of spice and grains. The rye comes through with a fair amount of spiciness in the flavor. Fairly grainy, herbal, moderately fruity flavor with a dry, herbal, earthy finish. Ehhh ok. New Belgium just hasnít been able to come through with a great lager yet, unfortunately.
