COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An homage to our roots and craft-brewing heyday of the early ’90s, Maris Otter and Special B malts give a big, sweet background to a palate of Horizon, Willamette and Galena hop varieties.

Pours a nice amber color. Very malty aroma and aftertaste. Moderate hops. Drinks very smooth. Reminds me of a more traditional IPA.

Bottle. Pours a fairly clear orange color with some haze. Aroma is deep hops, moss, wet wood and dark fruit. Flavor is woody, mossy and leafy hops. Finishes hoppy and bitter.

I like this beer. Reminds me of Sierra Nevada's Ruthless rye. Would order again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a good IPA, with the usual dominating hops. It has a medium body and nice clarity. The hops are good, even though they are out of balance with the malt.

Reviewed from notes. This one was poured into a pint glass most of the time, but twice I did have it in a tulip. There really wasn’t any change between the two. The appearance was a decent looking hazy orange to amber color with a decent one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than about thirty seconds. The smell was a bit grassy with some light hay features and a really light added floral-ness to it. The taste was sweet and grassy with a light bitterness added in to try and balance it. On the palate, it sat about a light to medium and holding a decent sessionable quality about it. The carbonation is somewhat there but stays pretty subdued for an AIPA. Overall, not a bad beer, but nothing really outstanding either.

Bottle:   Comse across as a bit of a soft IPA, pith and peel that aren’t too bitter.   Sofi sweetness.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Decent beer, not too exciting.   Not a hop bomb, low bitterness.   Tiz okay, but a little average.   Fairly clean tho.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Amber color, clean, with creamy head. Caramelly aroma, very light animal accent. Good strength; malt and caramel flavor, with light residual sweetness, mild fruity character, strong bitterness and light animal touch.
Good beer, a bit hard, a bit old style IPA.

Pours a straw yellow color. Citrus and earthy hops on the nose; all follow onto the palate. Caramel malt on the finish.

Large tan head with fair retention, good lacing. Clear, amber colored brew. Nose is toasty malts and earthy notes. Body is almost full, soft carbonation, somewhat tinny on the palate. Caramel malts, slight pine, some iced tea. Malt forward, fairly sweet, too sweet for me or any self respecting IPA.Finish is lightly sweet, caramelly. Meh, wasn’t expecting much anyways. Bomber from statelineliquors.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light earth aroma with light malt. Grapefruit and pine flavor with malt and light darker malts. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine lingers with light darker malts.
