Five hops and four malts make Hoptober Golden Ale a veritable cornucopia of earth. Pale and wheat malt are mashed with rye and oats to create a medium-bodied ale with creamy mouth feel. Centennial, Cascade, Sterling, Willamette and Glacier hops form a bonfire of citrus notes, fruity cheers and a bold finale. ABV: 6% 40 IBU Available in 6-packs and on draught

Golden color. Citrus and pine hop aroma. Very light on the palate. Surprisingly intense hop component considering the body. Pale malt flavor takes the back seat here, but still compliments the hops. The Bitterness lingers and makes you want more. The beer is a little confusing for me.

Golden pour with a white head. Lots of cattymess, pine, herbal. Strong bitterness. The cattymess and bitterness seem overwhelming. Typical I enjoy bitter styles but this seems putrid.

Clear golden, tan head. Light pine, citrus. Light hay. Light bitterness, drier. Light body, quite clean, effervescent. Really very pleasant.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with white head. Herbal, grassy, mountain river, earthy aromas. Herbal, earthy, cracker, hoppy flavors. A hop forward golden ale, but not too hop forward, still feels very much like a golden. I enjoy the New Belgium throwbacks. Even though this isn’t a favorite of mine, this would be a good camping beer. Could easily drink quite a few.

Very mild slightly sweet aroma, pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Very interesting flavor, with a touch of sweetness from the wheat, and a hint of spice from the rye. These combine with earthy hop notes to come together quite well. Medium bodied, with a slightly slick mouthfeel from the oats. A very nice change of pace from the Marzens and pumpkin beers that usually come out for Autumn.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear golden with a big white head and sticky lacing. Orange peels, biscuit, some grassy notes, grapefruits, and dough in the aroma. Taste is orange, grass, skme citrusy notes, biscuit malty, and straw with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Fine.

what a nice surprise, especially being a sale beer! aroma is very well balanced light citrus and earthy hops and malt. soft on the palate, and tasty, even though the hops come through a touch more in the aroma than the smell. Very very nice seasonal for just over a buck a bottle. recomended. 10/18/09-had on tap for the first time. even softer on the palate...near perfect body for the style, and still very tasty and aromatic."

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Lots of floral hops on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little caramel malt.
