Aroma of tart-ish cherries, raspberries, musty brett, unusual chocolate notes, and a pretty strong malt presence left. Flavor extremely acidic, bordering on vinegary, but still contains that rich, earthy, sour malt with light oak. Very good. anders37 (4573), Malmö, Sweden

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 24, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Sparky27 (thanks Eric!). Pours a dirty brown with a small light tan head. Aroma of tart sweettart candies and earthiness. Very reminiscent of Rodenbach Grand Cru. Flavor of tartness with a pinch of vinegar and oddly for a 6%, a slight alcohol tinge. Acidic but decently drinkable. This is a pretty good sour, but not quite there in the flavor department (compared to the best sours that is). thejoeshow (232), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 13, 2008 750ml bottle. Pours a cloudy reddish brown color with an almost yellow head to it. Nice earthy tart aroma to it. Flavor on this thing is amazing! It is so complex with hints of oak, apple and even a little vinegar. The sourness is perfect. It’s not too harsh but it has enough to it. I love this beer, and there is a reason why it has won so many medals. illidurit (873), Santa Cruz, California, USA
