COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oscar is New Belgium’s dark sour aged on oak foeders at the brewery. It is blended in various proportions in many of New Belgium’s sour, wood-aged beers, such as La Folie. This version is aged in Leopold’s Apple Whiskey Barrels.

Euclid Hall at GABF. Pours a cloudy brown, small head. I get the apple brandy right up front followed by the familiar aroma of the barrel aged sours of NB beers that we all love! Flavor is sour, vinegar, sweetness from the barrels. Damn fun and damn fine beer!

On draft at Euclid Hall for Gabf. Pours a dark brown with a thin white head. Nose is a wicked blend of apple spirits, vinegar, malt, and wood. Flavor follows the nose: more spirits in the nose than mouth, but all in all a fantastic beer for 7%. Outstanding sour!
