3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Just a bit of thin lacy head on the light orange pour. Light citrus nose with a yeasty bready taste that ends with citrus peel and coriander. Pretty sweet/salty aftertaste too. Would be best on a hot day

On tap. Pale golden with no head. Sweet floral orange blossom and cognac-like aroma. Tastes somewhat like grand marnier with a sweet grain finish. Not bad.

Bomber poured a hazy gold with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of yeast, bread dough, barnyard, light orange zest and light white pepper. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, lemon zest, yeast, light spiuce and light earthiness with a smooth dry lingering straw finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a frothy head on an orange-ish beer. Aroma is muted but I detect a Belgian yeast quality and a hint of vanilla. The taste is very smooth and the alcohol does not show up at all. Well masked. Again a slight vanilla note in the taste with a slight citrus note next to it. Did not catch the Bergamot which is a shame because I like that flavor.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium-short retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is stale farmhouse cheese, sugary wet grains, pear and apricot fruity esters, and a faint aroma of old, dirty hops. Flavor is sweet steeped grains and straw malt, light hops and bitterness, gently rotting peaches and a lightly sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours mostly clear gold with thin, fizzy white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is grapes, Belgian sugar, caramel and cookie malts, herbs, light citrus, and funk. Flavor is sweet malt forward with good supporting fruit esters (mostly light grapes) and some funk; dries out towards the end leaving a crisp, refreshing finish. Light/medium body and low carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great yeast taste. Strange mix of egg and grape kind of funk to it. Really refreshing semi sweet. Clean and focused.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bomber. Pours mellow yellow with some haziness and a light dissipating head. Nose is sugary sweetness with hints of citric and yeast-not promising. Taste is sugary sweet, with some butter and syrupy flavors. This is not a biere de garde-it’s much too sweet with a cloying sugary hangover. Dry-ha!!! The only thing that’s dry is my glass after this drainpour. Sad. It’s difficult to believe that the brewery that put out one of the best Belgian style ales with La Folie would even put their name on this beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear, bright gold; thin head. Malty grain on the nose. Sweet on the tongue. Creamy grains (oats) with a hint of citrus. Alcohol shows at the backside, but not overpowering.
