Bomber from Whole Foods in Davis, CA. Pours hazy gold with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is yeasty and earthy with a touch of citrus. Med body. Foamy carb. Flavor is yeasty, a little earthy, has a touch of spice and/or zest. It finishes a bit sweeter than expected. Drinkable, fairly tasty, but not as earthy as hoped.

Bomber poured a hazy gold with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of yeast, bread dough, barnyard, light orange zest and light white pepper. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, lemon zest, yeast, light spiuce and light earthiness with a smooth dry lingering straw finish.

Bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium-short retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is stale farmhouse cheese, sugary wet grains, pear and apricot fruity esters, and a faint aroma of old, dirty hops. Flavor is sweet steeped grains and straw malt, light hops and bitterness, gently rotting peaches and a lightly sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear paler golden yellow hued body with a massive white head. Aromas are leathery, earthy with muted citrus, pomelo, tamarind, earthy, straw, almost a lightly chlorophenolic smoke. Alcohol. Flavors are sweet, medium citrusy, medium clean, light graham cracker, pretty clean. Possibly a bit minerally or metallic. A touch tart. Warm maltiness. Pretty clean yeast character. A bit zesty and a bit boozy. Medium (prickly) carbonation (probably not much north of 2.50). Medium body, warming, light salinity.
