3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice orange-amber color, a little cloudy,. Interesting sweet and prune, old ale kinda aroma. Thick mouthfeel, strong alcohol as well as esters and phenols. Tastes a lot like a homebrew fermented too warm. Plenty of juicy fruit flavor and spice -clove - in the finish. Iíd like to age a bottle for a couple of years. It could be so much better, but still, not bad.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bomber courtesy of Anndiesel. Unfiltered glowing orange-red body. Lacy, patchy off-white head. Sweet and mellow aroma, not harsh at all. Lots of date sweetness on top of some smooth brown chocolate tones. Overall, a smooth malty beer, really easy to drink for the ABV. A lot going on, comes together well, a little muddled maybe. The additives really arenít a bonus at the end of the day, a "regular" Quad would probably be preferable.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle courtesy of Zach/k/c/zdk. Pours a deep amber red body. Aroma is strong spice and alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of booze up front, followed by spice, malt, some faint dark fruit, and some some sweetness. Overall, pretty strong for my taste, I would like to see this dialed back a touch.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at my parentís with my dad. Pour is murky amber with a fluffy cream head and great lacing. Cheery juice, light spice, alcoholic, a touch of sherry, bread, and rotten fruits in the aroma. Taste is Cough syrup, heavy spice, cinnamon, dark fruits, and bread - very muddled. Syrupy mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not a very good quad, at all, I was really hoping for something good here. I wish they would go after one in a more traditional manner.

Interesting brew. Pours a dark brown color, small tannish head. Lots of flavors in this beer. Spices, cherries, leather, hay, dates, figs, herbal hops, vegetal flavors. Fun but a bit too much happening.

Had this on tap at the East Nashville Beer Festival. Good aroma of raisins (which I like in quads). The flavors of rich malt and dark fruit are also welcome. Unfortunately the experience is tarnished by some hot alcohol in the finish. This beer will probably be fantastic with some age and time to smooth out. Maybe I will find a bottle to set aside for a while.
