COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Say hola to a spiced up ale full of cocoa and ancho, guajillo, chipotle peppers. But don’t fear the heat, because plenty of caramel and chocolate malts bring a smooth, complex flavor. Scents of cinnamon when poured will have your saying "ˇOle For Mole!"

Auburn brown pour with minimal head. Brown sugar seems to be most present, along with some pepper, cocoa, and caramel. Taste showcases more of the pepper, cinnamon. Seems like an american strong ale with a pepper kick. Sort of a weird vegetal flavor lying underneath. While not offputting, it certainly detracts. I love how the pepper is incorporated, but I wish the base beer was more enjoyable. Kind of a mixed bag here.

Not a huge mole vibe but a decent amount of cocoa. Pours black with decent head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Creamy texture. Some roast. Nice. Tap at birch and barley.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Dark brownish black with off-white head. Aromas of chocolate, chili pepper, caramel, coconut. Tastes of mint, chocolate, light coconut, chili pepper. Medium body with a dry finish. Better than expected.

Bottle pour dark brown with ruby hue and moderate tan head. Nose sweet chocolate, caramel malt, mild green pepper. Taste initial sweet coco followed immediately by the pepper flavors. Not overwhelming and only a hint of heat. Mid palate light bitter leading to the spice, cinnamon, nutmeg. Finish a mix of hot chocolate and cinnamon with a hint of burn. Sweeter flavors predominate. A little thin mouth feel.

A bomber with homemade BBQ pulled pork sopes. Mmmmm. The nose is full on roasted guajillo. Very earthy. Taste brings chocolate and pepper. The heat is mild and lingering. A nice play on spicy/sweet. If mole was a beer, this would be it. Odd, but very enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Scents of cinnamon and chocolate...just a "tad more than mild" heat taste that lingers in the throat, but is quite pleasant ! A great tasting beer !

Tallahassee, Fl. - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 22 oz bomber. Pitch black pour with dark reddish tints, light off white head. Aroma has some peppery notes, some mole’ spiciness, a hint of cinnamon. Flavor is enticing with a a nice spicy bent. Hints of chocolate mole’, some chipotle peppers, a touch of cinnamon. Nice little burn on the mouthfeel. Very nice Friday night sipper.

You can smell vanilla, coca, nice dark brown color. The taste is spicy, chocolate, hints of vanilla which I wish was stronger. The spicy sweet blend is good, not great, wish it have a little more of both.

Tap at APEX, Portland. Colour is dark brown with slightly brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Cacao, chili, chocolate and roasted malts. Too hot for me.
