3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Auburn brown pour with minimal head. Brown sugar seems to be most present, along with some pepper, cocoa, and caramel. Taste showcases more of the pepper, cinnamon. Seems like an american strong ale with a pepper kick. Sort of a weird vegetal flavor lying underneath. While not offputting, it certainly detracts. I love how the pepper is incorporated, but I wish the base beer was more enjoyable. Kind of a mixed bag here.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pretty much perfect balance of peppers, chocolate and cinnamon. Thereís enough heat to let you know they used some peppers but not overpowering to where itís not drinkable. Canít taste the 9% abv at all and has the consistency of a milk stout. Looks like a dark brow ale. Very well done, probably the best Chile beer Iíve had

4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Not much of an aroma, but in no way lacking for flavor. Delicious cocoa and cinnamon flavors up front, with a slow burn, peppery finish. Like any good molť, it leaves you wanting more.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Mahogany brown. Not completely opaque . Can see some light through it. Not much aroma. Some slight cinnamon and possibly cut grass. Cocoa up front and a slow burn at the end followed by some cheap cigar. Would pair well with peach cobbler or pecan pie. Bomber bottle.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber bottle. Aroma is raw
Cinnamon with some dark malt an earthiness. Appearance is a dark brown with a little tan head, and no lacing. At first you taste a sweetness that is dark that rolls automatically in to earthy spiciness. Both hot and flavorful spices abound. Palate is a spicy heat left on the palate. I expected the beer to be thicker because of the elevated alcohol and darker malt with all the added spices. Overall, I think they pretty much hit what they were looking for when they set out to make this beer. Very flavorful with some dark heat. Well done.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty interesting but overrated! Pours dark brown w/ a thin tan head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is surprisingly subtle w/ soft chocolate & spicy notes. The taste is not subtle as itís almost like a peppery chocolate bar. Itís fairly easy on the palate upfront w/ some nice cocoa flavors but finishes spicy & hot! While itís unique, Iím not quite sure if it fully works!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The beer pours a slightly hazy reddish brown with a medium ivory head. The aroma hits your nose with a heavy dose of cocoa powder with undercurrents of cinnamon and chilis. The taste is mildly bitter, slightly sweet, a touch spicy, and mildly dry with a dry finish that is reminiscent of cocoa powder and cinnamon. The spice builds a little as you drink, but it never overwhelms. The palate fuses a medium body, slick texture, and a soft carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle poured and split. From notes. Pours a dark syrupy brown color with a ton of head and lace. I hear crap about them all the time, but Iím very much alright with these pepper beers, and I hope they continue. Not saying they are all going to be great, but this one is pretty good. Spice filled, chocolate aroma. Flavor is a cinnamon storm. I should have just put the way I spelled cinnamon on my notes. Not close. At least it doesnít take spelling skills to enjoy great beer. Iíd be in trouble. I think most of us would. Finishes with more chocolate and spice. Very impressionable, memorable beer. Flavor sticks with you. Enjoyed this one.

Dark pour like chocolate syrup. Nice chocolate nose. Spicy fudge flavor is almost ruined by the heavy alcohol burn. One of the few porters I actually like. On tap @ 3 Cellars Milwaukee.
