Say hola to a spiced up ale full of cocoa and ancho, guajillo, chipotle peppers. But donít fear the heat, because plenty of caramel and chocolate malts bring a smooth, complex flavor. Scents of cinnamon when poured will have your saying "°Ole For Mole!"

22 oz bottle from Red Dog. Poured at room temperature. Pours a deep amber to light brown body with a lasting ring of beige head. Aromas of cocoa, cinnamon, like the aroma of that cinnamon roll shop in the mall. Flavors first hit with chipotle, including a touch of smoke, and other fruitiness of the peppers followed by caramel, cinnamon, and chocolate. Finish is mildly spicy and sweet cinnamon, like a red hot.

Bomber bottle. Aroma is of cinnamon and peppers. Dark brown color with reddish tint. White head that fades. Taste of cinnamon, spices, and a little bit of heat from the peppers. Med body. Very complex flavor overall. I just didnít really like the flavor.

Pours down brown, with a whitish tan head. Aroma of cocoa and pepper. Taste starts off with chocolate then heavily of peppers. I liked this fairly unique beer, but it is not that smooth or drinkable. Thumbs up.

Pours black with a tiny white lace of head. Kind of a candy chocolate aroma. Not strong. Taste is delicious. Rich chocolatey with a little pepper kick at the end. Nice thick body with a little carb.

Backlog. On tap at the brewery. Chalk full of spices, herbs and peppers with notes of cinnamon, caramel and chocolate malt. I thought I was going to like this, but I didnít really care for it. Perhaps Iíll give it another go soon.

Bottle, deep redish clear amber, light cream colored head dissapears, but leaves great lace. Aroma is yeast, coffee, cherries, chocolate, faint cinamon. Taste is chocolate, heat!, cinamon, coffee, cherries. That chili heat carries all the way through. Palate is rich and smooth, but not thick. Carbonation seems sharp, but I think itís the heat making it feel harsher than it is. This is a little sweet, but it plays off the heat perfectly. This is fun and really good.

Pours clear reddish brown thin tan head, fades quickly. Aroma of coffee and peppers with some cocoa. Flavor lots of cocoa and coffee with a aoicy pepper finish, for as mush is going on in this beer it all works. Body is fairy light medium carbonation.
