COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oh my God. It’s not only a reaction for drinking one of Dieu De Ciel’s beers, but a figurative translation of the Montreal brewery’s name. Just ask our brewmaster, he’s in heaven when drinking this collaborative tripel, inspired by Dieu De Ciel’s love of hibiscus and Belgians love of the obscure, hence our addition of tart feijoa fruit. Cheers!

On draft at the brewery. Reddish copper but clear with fine white lacing. Aroma is light and fruity with hints of the high ABV. Mouthfeel is tart and boozy with a fairly long lived tangy finish. Surprisingly drinkable trippel. DD

Rich amber/gold color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of yeast, caramel, fruit, & clove; Flavor of sweet malt, yeast, caramel/syrup, fruit, some hops, and spice; Nicely balanced; Overall, slightly cloying - but pretty decent.

It poured a hazy amber/copper color with an off-white head. The aroma was of fruit from the feijoa, spices with pale and caramel malts and a hint of dough. The taste was similar with a nice blend of the fruit and a tripel. Very nice.

Hazy strawberry blond, the aroma carries the florals of NB. Tripel but also this crazy fruitiness that must be feijoa. Sour fruity character, but mixed with the malts, florals and hop of NB tripel.

Bottle... Clear amber pour with a tiny, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is spicy, floral and fruity. Medium to full-bodied with tingly carbonation. The flavor is tart, fruity and floral accompanied by a hint of black pepper. Tangy finish.

Overall not a bad Tripel but not one of my favorites. A bit of a fruity aroma but nothing special. The flavors were interesting with that fruity tartness that apparently is from the feijoa fruit. Mouthfeel was too thin. A unique beer but not a great beer.

Pour is a little thin, with a typical trippicle aroma. When cold, it tastes like a yeasty, boozy blonde. When it warms, the tartness of the fruit takes over. Interesting to let this sit a bit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Krazy Karls. Appearance: finger of white head, amber orange color, cloudy. Aroma: orange, leathery yeast, light apricot . Palate: average carbonation, light body, good lace. Taste: slightly sweet to mild tartness. Overall, like how malts show through yeast, but not amazing still. Unique for style.

On Tap at Whole Foods, Boise. Hazy golden with a small white head. Dry Belgian yeat aroma, with a standard light malt and fruity yeat flavor. rather dry for a Trip but flavorful and pleasant. had a few bel-trips recently and this is in the pack.

Light orange color, lingering white head. Fruity hibiscus dominates the aroma with dough and toast in the background. Flavor follows the aromas very close; hibiscus and bready malt. The beer has an initial sweetness which that’s quickly subdued by a pleasant tartness. Reminds me of a pino gris. Solid beer.
