Yellow/orangish pour, white head. Aroma of belgian yeast, citrus fruit, sweet honeyed notes. Flavor is tart and yeasty, unripe peaches. Very interesting. if the tartness is something they intended its awesome. Im guessing it is.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle @ home picked up at RJís in Fort Collins. Pours a dark golden appearance with a tan/khaki head. The aroma is intense and a bit of an enigma- tons of spicy yeast, cat piss, light diaper, metal, light smoke (huh?), tropical fruits, and earth. A bit goopy, somewhat boozy, ultra thick and intense tart tropical fruits (passionfruit, pineapple, starfruit), very juicy, toasty malty, a touch smoky, very floral flavor. Thereís a slightly lychee-like element to the beer as well with a big tartness than follows the finish. What the fuck is going on here? I was more excited for this New Belgium collaboration than any since the Alpine one, but itís all over the map and not very palatable.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours from a pretty bottle a slightly cloudy peach/orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky fruits and spices. Medium-bodied with flavors of tart bitter fruit, peppercorns and yeast. The finish is peppery with a tart fruity aftertaste. Decent overall, if nothing else I learned I donít care for feijoa fruit.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bpmber shared at Craft Ale 20-Aug-2013. Poured hazy golden with white clingy head. Nose was black peppery hibiscus, funky yeasty malt, hopcitrus. Tasted complex, hoppy, citric, with notes if black pepper, hibiscus, and a complex, lively mouthfeel. This one was stellar.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle with a best before of March 2014. Pours with a clear golden orange hue with a medium sized, fizzy offwhite head that fades. Aromas are tart and slightly tropical, melon and papaya, peppery alcohol and phenol, dry apple and leather. Smells a touch sweet. Flavors are quite tart, grainy, fruity, hibiscus, melon, Belgian yeast. Quite a bit of acidity. Earthy and slightly waxy fruit flavors with noticeable alcohol. Lively carbonation, medium bodied with a tart finish. Not bad, I think it might drink a bit better than the score I ended up with.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very much a ruit beer more than a tripel. It is a GORGEOUS color. Flavor is tart and very vinous, the tripel flavor comes form a nice malt bill and belgian yeast.
