3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Growler at the brewery. Really surprised to find this one, NB’s not known for their stouts. Jet black with a rocky head. Light aromas of coffee, cocoa and a little fruitiness. Smooth, not thick, roasted grains, espresso. Dry finish, a little short. Quite nice, middle-of-the-road dry/Irish style stout with a lot of really tasty flavor to it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour is dark brownish black with creamy tan head, aroma had notes of some roast, coffee, hints of chocolate, some caramel and nutty notes in there as well. Taste was a nice mix of chocolate, coffee, some nuts, roasted malt comes through and finishes with a earthy dry finish. Not bad!

Tap @ The Mayor Foco. Brown appearance with a lasting tan head. Chocolate malty, light espresso, cocoa, light vanilla aroma with a toned down hop presence. Fairly thick mouth feel. Dark chocolate, roasty malty, light espresso flavor with a slightly dry finish.
