3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours with a completely clear deep gold to light orange hued body. Tons of bubbles jumping up the sides of the glass. A thick, fluffy head on top. Just a few shades off-white. Lacing is decent and retention is good. Aromas are tart, with a light funk and oak quality. A bit of spice that reminds me of a pumpkin beer. Tart acidic notes, lemon zest, cranberry. Light esters reminiscent of red grapes and raspberries. Malt profile is minimal: lightly bready, some graham cracker. No hop aromas. Flavors are decently tart overall, although not quite sour. Long duration, a little funk. Surprisingly malty compared to the aroma. Malty throughout: fresh bready, biscuits, warming malt character. Finish has a hint of alcohol and a sharp malic or citric tartness reminiscent of cranberries or even exceptionally tart cherries. Very long duration. Lightly tannic in the aftertaste. Juicy and fruity on the mid palate. A hint of spice and lightly earthy or vegital notes. Tart balance, medium to low bitterness. Medium level of carbonation with a bit of creaminess. Acid keeps a slightly sharp, un-smooth edge to the beer. Medium alcohol warming given the abv. Medium to slightly light bodied with a dry finish. A very interesting and unique beer. A lot of different elements going on with no one direction. Possibly confused purpose, but still quite tasty.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber aged a little over 2 years. Poured into my New Belgium globe glass. Pours a ruby amber color with a off white head that leaves good lacing. Smells of Cranberry, pumpkin, spices and sour yeast. Tastes of the same thing in the smell with the sour cranberry flavor being the forefront. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation and a semi dry finish. A lot more sour than I thought it would be but mellows as it warms and the pumpkin and spices shine through more. Pretty flavorful sour beer. It aged really well i think.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle. Pours a light golden color with a one finger white head that leaves light lacing. The smell is of acidic citrus tartness, and slight nutmeg spice. Taste is surprisingly prominent dry lemon acidity up front. Nutmeg flavor comes in as the beer warms in your mouth. Cranberry is a bit of an afterthought but there on the finish. Sour lemon mustiness first, with some nice flavoring lingering on the palette. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Surprisingly tasty and a nice sour. Very lacey, on Orange peach body, a great picture.A little funky yeast. Orange citrus taste, the cranberry is there and its just observable. The pumpkin is in the secondary. A good pumpkin for people like me outpumpkined. December 2011 bottle. My only complaint is the cranberry should be natural cranberries and not added in j. Thanks FlandersNed.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This really tastes like itís on the verges of a sour. Has a pumpkin smell, though once the liquid is on the lips the sense of gourd is gone - itís good for someone like me who doesnít much like pumpkin beers. Cranberry comes through in taste more than anything. Pours cloudy blond with some lacing. Finishes light sour with some astringency. Bottle thanks to Sammy.

Backlogged rating from bottle: Rich deep gold hue with minimal head. Nose of cranberries, ginger, mint, hibiscus, biscuity malts and some herbal hops. The taste is twangy, acidic, with plenty of pale and caramel malts. Clean and actually sort of simple but tasty, light alcohol presence noted. Some spicy notes but not much pumpkin character. The mouth feel is refreshing and tart with a light tannic finish. Pretty nice but not sure I would buy again.
