"They somehow managed to trick you into thinking there were marshmallows in this bad boy. Lots of chocolate very very smooth. Did I mention it’s smooth? Robust, but wouldn’t have guessed 8+."

Draft at Thirsty Monk. Poured a thinner with dark burnt orange edges under a creamy beige head. Aroma and flavor of pudding, light vanilla, dry dark toast and some grain. Medium to thinner body with average carbonation. Meh was expecting more.

Tasted during RBWG. Nutty malt aroma, kind of toasty. Some vanilla. Mostly clear, dark brown color. Kind of red color. Good dots and splotches of lace. Nice, smooth, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter finish. Solid, lightly dark fruity roasty porter. Good, but doesn’t taste at all smores-like, despite what many are saying. Maybe a hint of vanilla. Overall, though, just alright for what I expected..

RBWG 2014. Sampled at thirsty Monk. Clear dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma of cocoa and roast malt. The flavor pretty much follows the aroma.

On tap at Thirsty Monk during RBWG. Pours a clear deep amber with a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has earthy dark grains with a hint of chocolate and sweet marshmallow. Flavor is similar with earthy dark grains up front with marshmallow sweetness in the finish. A bit sweet for me.

Draft at Thirsty Monk. Pours a clear dark reddish brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have chocolate, some fruit, vanilla, very smooth mouthfeel, enjoyable.

Draft dark brown. Nose milk chocolate and light roast. Taste slight grilled and roast up front. Some bitter then chocolate finish. Mid palate some vague fruit.

arminjewell (6419) - Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 26, 2013
Pour on tap at Choice City, dark brownish black pour with creamy tan head, on nitro. Aroma brought notes of dark chocolate, roast, lots of coffee bean, slight smoke into some earth, hints of wood. Taste is a mix of earth, roast, slight coffee, touch of smoke into chocolate, hints of earth, finishing fairly bitter.

As smorter. It is a rather dry and nondescript version of an american porter.
