3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a pale hazy golden with a thin, almost non-existent head. Has a fruit and funk aroma with the flavor coming through a fruit as well - pears and apples. There’s a tongue coating character as well, but not totally attributed to sweetness. There’s also pale malt and yeast in the taste as well. Alcohol well hidden. Damn good!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Average-sized head; slightly cloudy, yellowish-orange appearance. Aroma is very herbal and earthy with some sweetness hitting at the end of the whiff. Flavor is dandelion-forward (yes, I have eaten raw dandelions before) with, again, a touch of sweetness. I can also taste some of the wood-age. It’s a bit boozy, too, but the booze goes well with the flavor profile here, and it doesn’t overwhelm it. This is pretty tasty and different, actually, and that is pretty much what I expected based on the description.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Hazy gold with a short white head. Aroma is fruity and yeast with light straw notes, flowers and candied notes. Taste ups the yeast notes with more flowers, ripe fruits, light woody notes, candied notes, sweet malt, hints of pineapple cake, grass and straw. Body is medium with a strong effervescent carbonation and is more warming than expected for a 9% beer. Ends with more yeast notes, ripe tropical fruits, sweet malt, light wood, toasted grains, straw, flowers and herbal notes.
