COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Using dandelion greens to bitter a Belgian-style ale blossomed from our brewers collaborating with Red Rock Brewing. This being our sixth interpretation together since 2008, expect a wonderfully complex ale fermented with wild Belgian yeast and blended with just a touch of wood-aged beer. Bitterness imparted from dandelion greens and grains of paradise will have you blowing wishes for sips.

On tap at City Beer. A hazy one, orange in color, topped by a small, off-white head. Quite fruity aroma, with some apricot and malty sweetness. Full body, semi dry, with pleasant carbonation. Sweet flavor with a little sourish touch, fruity. Some warmth towards the end. There’s a strange, herbal touch going on, don’t know what, but it doesn’t add anything that saves the beer from being boring. 130805

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Nose is tart fruit. Med body. Flavor is a mystery at first. With 15 secs or so there are Belgian fruit-esters, and some light bitterness. It edges on a citric sour. Seems dry. Finishing bitter and becoming more towards sour. Don’t know why I can’t get more enthusiastic about this.
