COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Peach Porch Lounger is the lovechild Saison of musician G. Love and New Belgium. The glowing orange beer is a groovy mix of peaches, hominy grits, molasses and lemon peel with pale and biscuit malts. Brettanomyces yeast brings a bold, sweet nose and the beer ends with a dry finish

It poured a nice peachy golden brown. The head was well balanced to the amount that I poured. It is definitely a sweeter beer, and one to be sipped.

Pours a golden yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is sour peaches and brett. It smells great! If I only smelled it I would think I was about to drink a sour. The taste is initially peach followed by alcohol. Itís definitely a sipper. A little sweet, not really sour at all. Really good, but I could only have it every once in a while

Happy LA Beer Week! This bright orange beer has a nice bit of peach taste and sugar followed by a very Belgian vanilla medicine taste. Very much saison.

Straw color with light head. Aroma is peach and lemon with a bit of funk. Really sweet, little funk, not so good.

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. Almost clear golden with a thin white layer. I smell brett and peach. Those are tasted along with plenty of malts. This is subtle and pretty good.

Pours a Golden Orange. Nose of Lemon with candied peaches and barnyard funk. Starts out with a honey nectar sweetness with fresh tart peaches and Brett funk. The sweetness hangs out to the finish. Finish has some burn and booziness. Like a Peach brandy with funk. A little on the sweet side.

22 ounce bottle - $7.99 at Luckyís in Woodstock, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a hazy, pale golden body with a small, quickly receding, white head.

Smell: Slender malts enveloped in fragrant peach juices and noted alcoholic waftiness, with light notes of sweat, citrus, and, to my surprise, even a bit of the molasses with some dedicated sniffing.

Taste: Pale malts with a touch of baguette, dried straw particles. Slight honeyish sweetness alongside the bold peach juice taste. Citrus burst midway. Youíve got a bit of tartness here, but it seems more a product of the peach juice than any brett action. A little molasses, a little spiciness thatís aided by the ramped alcohol heat which gives a clear hint of schnapps on the crispish, drying finish. Subtle acidity with the continued alcoholic heat in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-plus carbonation.

Overall: A fair brew thatís interesting enough, though I wouldíve preferred it with less alcohol, as thereís a little hotness present. Donít feel particularly like a saison, how about just Belgian Hodgepodge?
