Peach Porch Lounger is the lovechild Saison of musician G. Love and New Belgium. The glowing orange beer is a groovy mix of peaches, hominy grits, molasses and lemon peel with pale and biscuit malts. Brettanomyces yeast brings a bold, sweet nose and the beer ends with a dry finish

Okay, been staring and decided to try this finally. Pours a good looking golden ale with a sheet of fine whites. Smells of textbook belgian yeast, bits of lemon, some sour milk, grain and sweet hawaiian bread. Tastes like a subtle saison, with plenty of peach juice flavor (unsweetened), some metal and clay like yeast character. There is a good dose of lemon must and some slight tartness. Medium bodied with moderate, loose carb. Meh, it’s an okay beer. Serving type: bottle 10-18-2012

Decent peach beer. I was a little hesitant on a peach beer, and this one is a little sweet. Good beer for a beer or two, certainly not an all day bender beer.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours orangish with a white head. Taste sweet, peach, fruity, Brett. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Cigar City Brewery. Shimmery golden orange peach color. Funky peach aroma and flavor. White wine like finish. Peach flavor dominates, Brett adds a nice depth, tart and funkiness. Decent

Banana and yeast, fresh baked bread on the nose. Beautiful hazy golden color. Tastes predominately of banana, with peach in the background only. Finishes with a little bit of tart lemon.

bottle - Pours hazy copper and very bubbly with a lingering off-white head. It has a sweet flavor with peach, Belgian yeast spice, and not a lot of brett character. The aroma is quite mild. I just got some Belgian yeast and a hint of fruit. It’s medium bodied and refreshing. Very good. Don’t be scared off by the brett if you don’t like really funky beers. It’s light on it.

Tap at Dexters. I’m not so sure about the aroma, kind of dry aspirin, mineral, vitamin peach. Not so good. There are some forced peach tones, but this is pretty artificial and uninspired and hurts the whole LoF logo once more. Not a Saison. Some ugly brutal alcohol malt tones. Disappointing. The brett is stale, not really present. Brutal.

Bomber. Apricot colored and hazy with a short white head. With even a vigorous pore, the fizzy head disappears within seconds. Aroma is over-ripe fruit, funky yeast notes, soft earthiness, wet dog and light spice. OK, that does not sound very appetizing. But the taste is much better. The funky yeast is still there, as is the earthy notes and the peppery spice. But a healthy tartness is also there from the beginning mitigating the sweetness. The other notes add complexity, but the finish is rather clean. Have been cellaring this beer almost a year, and the result is very smooth. Body is medium heavy with a light, prickly carbonation. Ends with more peaches, tart fruits, earthy notes, funky yeast and light spice. A very fine beer.

Bottle to stange glass Aroma of peach, cookie, orange, Brett, soy, and bubble gum; very sweet smelling. The colour is a vibrant yellowish amber and there's a lot of effervescence, qhich allows the thin white bubbly head to last. The taste is not as expected, sweet to start, but changing to a yeasty wheat taste, nowhere near the level of sourness expected. There's a little peach but that quickly fades to a tofu and nut taste plus a medium bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and airy, a little slick with a nice lively carbonation. It's okay, but the soy/tofu are a but off putting; the appearance and palate saved this from being a bad rating, but that's not really where is want to earn points if I were making a beer.
