COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cross pollinate your tastebuds with Belgian imagination and you’ll be sipping this ale while visions of pluots dance in your head. Pluots? A hybrid of apricots and plums that impart a subtle sweetness. Ferment that with a wild Belgian yeast strain and you have a fruity yet spicy nature with a body reminiscent of red wine. Delicious.

Draft at Brixx Asheville. Pours yellow with no head. Slight fruitiness on the nose. Honestly I don’t eat a lot of apricots or plums so I’m clueless as to what this tastes like except cloying and artificial. Finishes clean and it hides the alcohol well which makes of feel a bit like an alcopop.

Tap at Brixx Asheville - pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity like stone fruits. Taste is sweet with a ton of alcohol burn on the finish. Good, but too much boozy burn.

Bottle. Translucent amber pour with a short white head. Aroma is fermented fruit, yeast notes, soft booze, champagne notes and light earthiness. Taste is sweet malt, ripened, fermenting fruit, wine, booze, strong yeast, light spiciness, more champagne notes and tart fruit notes. Body is medium and sticky with a light, bubbly carbonation and a strong warming note. Ends with more fermented fruit, candied fruit, sweet malt, yeast, flowers, soft grains and light spice.

Quite sweet with peach flesh, vanilla, tart plum skin, prune juice, and raisin. Honey-baked biscuit, yeast, and caramel. Not terrible.

Bomber - pour is fizzy but headless - it kind of looks like cream soda, which is ironic because it kind of smells like cream soda, too - very syrupy sweet nose, with a lot of vanilla and sugary character not unlike the cheap syrups some people like to put in their coffee - there is also a fair amount of booziness, light plumy fruitiness - mouthfeel is simultaneously spritzy and oily - very syrupy sweet up front - the fruit is fairly strong - some tanginess and acidity late try desperately to balance, but fail to get the job done - very boozy, alcoholic finish - I don’t know why I keep buying these lips of faith beers - I can’t remember the last time I really enjoyed one.

Had on Draft @ NoBi, cheap beer- $4.50 for a 16oz pint. .. pours a deep gold .. . mild foam .. . apricot, booze, syrup, and more booze .. . sickly sweet mouth .. . took a while to finsh, over an hour- just to big for its boots .. . when you were born, you were, for however brief an amount of time, the youngest person on the planet.

Pours like a semi fizzy apple juice with some off white head. Smells of plum, apricot, sweet malt and a bit of spicy alcohol. Taste is mostly just sweet fruit with just a hint of spice. They hide the 10% really well. I could see this brew being dangerous as it goes down easily. The mouth feel is a bit of carbonation but largely oily. Laces really well on the sides of my glass.

Tap at Happy Gnome. Pale golden pour with a smaller white head. Wow - the plum and apricot hits you square in the face. Very sweet - overly so.
