COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cross pollinate your tastebuds with Belgian imagination and youll be sipping this ale while visions of pluots dance in your head. Pluots? A hybrid of apricots and plums that impart a subtle sweetness. Ferment that with a wild Belgian yeast strain and you have a fruity yet spicy nature with a body reminiscent of red wine. Delicious.

No retention and very light lacing. Smells of apples, apricots and grapes. Tastes of apricots, plum and yeast. Sour finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly hazy, light blonde colour, not much head. Fruity - plummy - aroma. Sweet character with sticky, slightly gluey malts, and a light pluot accent. Ok, kind of vaguely Belgian-accented fruit ale.

I really enjoyed this beer. Im not always into fruity tasting beers but this was an exception. It tastes of plums and apricots at first but when you swallow its followed by a warm sensation. I believe this would be a great summer beer.

Bottle shared at the January 2014 tasting in Santa Cruz. Eggy, sweaty, farts, cheese. Gross and cloying. Bugger off, New Belgium.

Funny this coms up as a fruit beer when really its a sour. And decent one at that. Bought in a wee plastic grower from The Beer Growler in Savannah while trying, successfully, to escape Canadian winter. Thanks to that Im getting to try some great beers like this one. Nice smell on this one with good hits of its fruit and sour. Decent gold colour with light white head. Lovely gooseberry sourness, with hints of grape to it, and a surprising amount of sweetness lurking behind eberything, definitely worth a couple of pints, but might not ne an all afternoon on a patio drink,

(22oz. bottle) - Slight white head which pretty much devolves into a small ring of white bubbles in the glass. Clear golden body. Visible bubble activity in glass. Slight aroma reminiscent of apricots (the "ot" in Pluot!) Sweet flavor balanced between the pluot fruit and the Belgian yeast characteristics. No real hop character. A bit too sweet for a standalone beer. Might be good with spicy food, such as curry.

Bottle. Golden with minimal head. Lightly boozy with fruity tartness and quite a bit of sweetness. Very eh.

Hazy gold beer, small white head.Palate is smooth and semi dry and very slightly viscous. Mild carbonation. Mild creamy malt. Little spice. Syrupy fruits. Very subtle sherbet. Light semi dry finish. Quite Belgian Golden like, shame the fruits were not better showcased.

Golden pour with minimal head. Sweet fruit aromas that remind me more of apples than a plum/apricot hybrid. Flavor is sweet and reminiscent of apple juice. Not much else going on here. Another bland uninteresting Lips of Faith beer.
