COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cross pollinate your tastebuds with Belgian imagination and you’ll be sipping this ale while visions of pluots dance in your head. Pluots? A hybrid of apricots and plums that impart a subtle sweetness. Ferment that with a wild Belgian yeast strain and you have a fruity yet spicy nature with a body reminiscent of red wine. Delicious.

Pours a clear golden orange with thin ring of white lacy head. Aroma is sweet fruits, Belgian funk, and a bit of grainy biscuit. Taste is much less funk and more of the fruit, slightly metallic. This one may have missed the mark.

Clear light amber color with ivory head. Pit fruit, caramel, spicy yeast aromas. medium body, average carbonation. Lightly tart apricot flavors with spicy yeast, and lightly sweet caramel---drying bitter finish---decent

Bottle from Proof. Clear golden pour with a small white head. Fruity, yeast, sugar aroma. Flavor is weird and similar to the aroma. Alcohol is present. What the fuck did I buy tonight?

Clear-golden in color with a bit of soft white head. Boozey, sweet aroma...definitely fruity but hard to distinguish, Quite sweet and fruity, marachino cherry and plum with light alcohol notes.

Bomber: rich, warm orange hue. minimal head. sparce lacing. smells of sour dough. sweet forward. tart but not sour. only mildly acidic with a faint earthy bitterness that sneaks out then fades back to a nice tartness. would be great with peach cobbler. Love the label. ~m --RaucusBacchus

Sour and sweet, but kind of rancid tasting. Has an off flavor that tastes like garbage... Literal garbage. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at gold nugget. Belgian qualities in the nose. Excellent lace. Good Belgian ale flavor. Some tartness. Sweet. Very good.

Pours a soft hazy blond with one finger of white head. Weird fruit skin thing in the nose and flavor. Some acidity and notes of bile. A touch of raw yeast. Meh.....

22 ounce bottle into signature globe glass, bottled on 4/5/2013. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of pear, apple, apricot, peach, plum, grape, honey, white wine, light funk, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruit, malt, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of pear, apricot, apple, peach, plum, grape, honey, herbal, light pepper, white wine, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of light fruits, peach, plum, grape, honey, herbal, white wine, light funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice balance and complexity of malt, yeast ester, and fruit addition flavors; with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a slick and lightly syrupy mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a good fruited Belgian strong ale. All around good balance and complexity of fruity yeast, malt, and pluot additions; and quite smooth to sip on for 10%. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Clear golden pour. Small, soapy, white head. Plenty of lacing. A bit of booze in the nose. Some muted fruit and malt. Big fruity flavor. Big heat as well. Finish is fruity with some malt. Tastes a lot like a Pinot Grigio. Or a sweet Riesling. Not bad.
