COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Alpine might be small, but their brewing chops are mighty. We teamed up to create this triple dry-hopped imperial IPA bursting with Columbus, Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe hops. Consider yourself a hero for getting an Alpine beer outside of San Diego.

Bomber. Pours a pale orange gold, very slight haze. medium head, white with decent retention, nice lacing.Nose is hoppy, pine in the front, little bit of citrus and tropical fruit. Full mouthfeel, almost oily, but fades rather quickly and not as much hops bitterness as I expected. Enjoyable.

Great color, head and lacing. Huge aroma - should get a 10 but... the skunky, oniony aromas from Amarillo and Simcoe hops overwhelm the more desirable citrus, pine and floral notes from the Columbus and Centennial. This also comes through in the flavor. I would like to love this beer. It would get about a 4.7 without the nasty hops.

Draught at Eureka Burger. Rating #72. Hazy orangish color with a white head. Sweet malty and light tropical aroma. Toasty flavor, very malt forward, which threw me for a loop. Wasn’t a real big fan to tell you the truth. (2475)

Pours a hazy amber with a fairly small head. A lot of hops to the aroma without overpowering the nose. Good level of hops, though balanced well to cut the bitterness.

Shiny golden color. White head gets thinnish soon. Strong floral hop nose. Taste is biscuity and hoppy. Citrus with a biscuit and gravy backend. Weird. Really funky amd foody. Its got plenty of character and should be enjoyed by more women and children all around.

Bomber from Bier 30 in Boise. Pours a very clear copper color with a large thick white head. A great bursting nose of fruity hops and resin is coming through. A great flavor: pure Cali goodness here, sweet resiny hops with massive fruit, insane drinkability, Simcoe, sweet candy, caramel. Awesome! I guess this isn’t everyone’s cuppa but man this is good. Leaves your lips lingering with bitterness and sweet as hell hops. Homerun.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2013 The appearance here is darker golden hue with a creamy off white head which is long lasting. Aroma of grapefruit, onion, garlic. Flavor is more garlic and onion. Odd combination, but it works somewhat. I had this after Sierra Nevada hoptimum, and it pales in comparison. Interesting flavor, yet with that said, it doesn’t quite float my boat.

Had my share of Alpine so was stoked to try this. Rating this after my 4th in 5 days...two on tap, two in bombers. Terrific floral and honey hops on nose. Great balance with big DIPA malt sweetness and hops on a long but clean finish. Drink it while you can. Interesting note: some early reviews I saw mentioned garlic/onion notes...I didn’t get anything more than a slightly green dankness on the first 3 I tried so I was gonna write this off to some haters looking for a flaw. The one I drank today though totally had the garlic bigtime on the nose. This was on draft at the New Belgium restaurant at Denver Airport. They kicked the keg right before I ordered and mine was the first pull on a fresh keg, so I think there is definitely something to this, but only on the hyper-fresh ones and probably won’t be seen in any bottles out there by now.
