Pale, cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is very fruity and sour. Flavor is very sweet and sour with a slight spiciness underneath. Overall, well done, a little overly tart for me. Other than the tartness itís nice and refreshing and definitely interesting.

Pours a hazed golden hue with a slight orange tinge a a bit of white head that settles off. Funky-tart aroma. Only moderately tart of flavor with definite wood undertones, fruity; though I am not familiar with the taste of the lychee fruit, I can only assume that is it.

Bottle shared with Linh at churchills. Pours a deep hazy orange body with thin white lacing. Aroma is super tart candy, sour apricot and peach. Mouthfeel starts out puckerig but fades quickly with notes of sour fruit and lift tart wheat flavors in the finish. I wish this had a longer finish.

Very enjoyable beer. Pours cloudy golden color with a rapidly dissipating head. Aroma is sour with wood, basement aromas, leather, and tropical fruit. Taste is sour, but not overly so. Also a bit sweet on the finish. Not on par with La Folie, but a damn fine beer, nontheless.

Bottle. Creamy lactic, sweet tart, fruity, vanilla aroma. Hazy golden with a small white head. Sweet tart fruity, creamy lactic, Belgian yeast flavor with spicy cinnamon heat in the finish. Light tingly body. Crazy combination that works beautifully. Outstanding.

Bottle. Lactic acid, vanilla and lychee aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet-tart lychee, lightly hot cinnamon, and malt flavor. Seems like a weird combination but works very well. Excellent.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: JUL 8, 2012 Pours a hazy, very cloudy straw color with a head that faded quickly. Aromas of funk, sweet fruit, barnyard, straw. Intense funky taste, followed by a boatload of tart fruit, sweet nectar. This is really a sweet and sour beer, although not to sweet. The fruit is really pronounced. Think of mixing an Orval with the driest funkiest lambic you can think of, toss in some fresh lychee fruit, and you have this beer. Simply amazing. Mind = Blown.

Tap at Freetail brewing company San Antonio, TX May 2012-pours hazy lite orange with a small fizzy white head around the rim of the glass. nose is fruity peach, lite sour and lactic qualities-very mild yet wonderful! WOW! sour peach all the way here with a nice sweet backbone and tartness, which dries it out, especially on the finish. a big long fresh peach finish very organic and earthy. just wonderful! cant say that enough. One of the best LoF series beers i have ever had!
