Definitely improved since its release last year. Tastes more true to the fruit now. Juicy; yeasty with relatively active carbonation. Cinnamon is MIA. Mildly tart, though it builds as the beer warms. Delicious and refreshing. Very approachable by non-beer folks: my sister would love this.

Aroma is tart fruit, some funk and very slightly perfumed. The flavor is tart fruit, malts and a mix of mild sourness and cinnamon in the finish.

Bottle. Pours a hazy coppery-orange color with effectively no head. Nose is quite tart with some fruit notes, especially lychee. Taste is very sour and has a bit of a bite on it, yet is rather smooth for its tartness.

Aroma of tart cherry, underripe cranberry, and nice nail polish funk. Pours hazy blonde with great film. Taste is nice and light with lemon, cranberry, and slight honey. Great floraltaste in general.

It poured a hazy golden color with a thin white head. The aroma was fruity, sweet, tart and some light funky barnyard. It had a medium body. The taste was a bit more muted than I was hoping from the aroma, all the same characteristics were there. It had the tart fruit, sweet, and a bit of sour funk. Very nice.

Bottle. Opaque golden beer with a thin slightly off-white head. Aroma is acidic, fruity. Taste is mild-medium sweet, lightly sour, the lychee really comes in but the cinnamon is hard to detect. Finish is light, sweet, the lychee flavor lingers. Light body, lively carbonation. Refreshing.

2013-02-02. Lightly hazy dark yellow, small white head. Modest aroma is sort of fruity with lychee notes, which is probably to be expected considering! Similar flavour has pleasant fruit and very light tart touches. 6+ Average palate. Okay. I’d like a bit more oomph all around but it is enjoyable. Bottle at Sourfest, Buffalo

22 ounce bottle into signature globe glass, bottled on 4/10/2012. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big sour apple, lemon, pear, cherry, pineapple, pepper, clove, wheat, grass, hay, earth, oak, cinnamon, funk, and honey. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity, spicy, malty, and funky notes. Taste of sour apple, pear, lemon, cherry, pineapple, clove, hay, grass, wheat, oak, pepper, earth, light cinnamon, light funk, and light honey sweetness. Light fruity tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart light fruits, pineapple, clove, hay, grass, wheat, oak, earth, light funk, and light honey sweetness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice flavor balance and complexity of fruity, spicy, malty, and funky notes; with zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly slick and lightly acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent blended wild ale. Great complexity and balance of flavors; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

A fairly subtle, floral/sour nose, with a hazy golden color. Smooth, slightly sweet initial taste, with a mild sour finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
