Poured from the bottle. A slightly sour brew that was well balanced and hid itís 8.5% ABV very well. I found it a surprising beer. Smooth but citrusy with a clean taste and finish. Iím not sure I would get it again but worth a try...

"surprisingly low funk level given that it has both brett and lacto, and has been sitting letting those bad boys do their thing for quite some. but, it wasn;t too funky, and not sour at all. medium bodied amber in color. smells floral and sweet pear. similar flavor with a touch of dry funk in the finish. refreshing, but not quite ehat iím looking for in a wild ale."

Hazy golden colored pour. Big white head, closer to off white. Plenty of lacing. Funky aroma with some citrusy notes. Taste is a tart funky mix of Brett and fruity flowery-ness.

Rated on 5-11-2011. This bottled beer pours a medium sized fizzy off-white head that mostly diminishes, mostly transparent/slightly hazy orange body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is brett, floral, sweet, and hints of fruit. The taste is sweet, sour, fruity, and floral. It has a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel is lively and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer is not overly sour tasting and worth trying.

Alright, letís see what two years did here... Pours a bubbly clear copper with a vigorous initial tow fingers of thick, meringue style foam that falls to a solid quilt of the same. Smells pretty simple: some peppercorn, light malts, some hints of brett (sweet, milky and funky) with just a slight floral note. Nice fruity flavor up front lends some lemon and pineapple juice with woody malt and a hint of tartness in the finish. Medium on light syrup with liberal, but quick dissipating carb and an off dry finish. Tasty beer, but nothing special. Serving type: bottle 12-26-2012 08:25:49

Bottle. Clear yellow/orange pour with white head. Floral and vinegar aromas. Sweet with big malt, lactose, and mild floral notes. Tangy and somewhat effervescent. Iím just not a big fan of hibiscus. Decent body and mouthfeel..

22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99 (Sept. 2011). Pours a murky reddish amber color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor had a big herbal/floral character, the hibiscus is noticeable, tart citrus, dry Brett notes, some malt character with a moderate acidic lacto quality. I would drink it again.

Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar: Poured a golden honey color and was topped with a small formation of foam patches for its head. The aroma was subtle with a moderate scent of zesty Belgian yeast and a distant background of banana and hibiscus plant. As for the flavor, there was a blended spiciness that mimicked a Belgian farmhouse wild ale with a slight hint towards hibiscus and dried fruit perhaps apricot or banana. Certainly interesting how they incorporated endive into this recipe, but Iíve only had the vegetable a few times I cant really say the flavor has been embedded into my palate yet.

A - Pours a clear amber with a fizzy looking white head. S - Tart fruit - green apples, pears, grapes, hints of soft grain. T - Apple and grape skins, tart berries, pears, candy sweetness mineral like character, soft citrus, cherries, and some light funkiness behind all the fruit. Aftertaste is tart floral. M - Creamy medium body. Subdued but balanced. The sourness and funk is light but itís still a tasty brew. Serving type: bottle 07-17-2011
