COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Get a Belgian Brewmaster and a master of Belgian brewing together and theres sure to be spontaneous imagination that leads to micro-organisms mingling in fermentation.

Allagash and New Belgium are pleased to offer you our collabeeration brewed with the slightly fruity hibiscus flower, the aromatic Brettanomyces, and the flavor-boosting Lactobacillus.

We recommend pairing it with creamy, soft cheeses and charming Vrienden- that’s ‘friends’ in Flemish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a hazy amber with a huge and frothy off-white head leaving laces - quite some retention. Tart, fruity nose with a subtle edge of Brett. Surprisingly light-bodied, yeasty and fruity with only the slightest tartness. Nice alright but not really sour though. 311011

At Paradiso Dupont, side by side with the Allagash version, in the company of the brewers, founders and staff from both breweries - what a way to enjoy a beer! Clear deep golden color. Aroma of citrus and strawberry (!). Taste is smooth, softly sour orange and grapefruit, oily mouthfeel. The lacto outweighs the brett in this one. Very nice.

Amber, slightly hazy. Slightly floral, maybe pumpkiny and some other earthy notes. Tart, somewhat floral, maybe a light yeast note. Good balance. Rustic concept, the execution a little slicker than rustic, for better and possibly for worse as well.
